Perfect for gaming enthusiasts

I have used every type of HDD over the years and WD is hands down the best. And thank you Best Buy for the deals on these. Didn't have to order online, got a better price in store!!

Decent drive. One month and no problems.

WD is supposed to be a good brand for reliability. Some people are saying that there might be two versions of this drive. One with newer technology. I don't know if I got the better one or if I would be able to tell the difference. I just need a bigger drive for back up files.

However, depending on what exactly you're building, I might recommend an SSD instead. If this is a work PC, then this is perfectly fine, doubt you'll ever reach the 4TB limit. However, if you're building a gaming PC, I'd recommend going with WD's Blue 4TB SSD instead. Though it is several times more expensive, for the same storage, you're going to be glad you purchased it.
