Customers are delighted by the Blue 4TB PC Internal Hard Drive's large storage capacity, reliability, and ease of installation. Many appreciate its affordable price and quiet operation. A small number of customers noted the lack of an included SATA cable and expressed some concerns about the warranty length. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and value outweighs these minor drawbacks.

Reasonably priced hard drive. It works great and was easy to install. I did have problems with the free WD software off of their website. I never could get the software to do what I wanted it to do--make an exact copy of my existing hard drive. I had to use different software.

So far I really like this hard drive, it was easy to install, had clear instructions, and was packaged well. It also came at a pretty reasonable price! The only thing I would suggest is that you check what the size limit is for hard drives on your device first. I didn't think to do that so I ended up only being able to use half of its storage capacity, but that's just user error. :)

Rolling your own home NAS or home File Server has never been easier, than with this Hard drive. These are not designed for speed, but they certainly more than make up for that with space and reliability. I added one to my system, in less than 10 minutes I had it available for use…with cloud storage it is easy to roll your own home cloud and bolt on more and more storage as you go!

I purchased this hard drive to carry the torch of storage duties in a gaming machine I built recently. I went over budget on the video card, so I didn’t go with the more expensive 7200 rpm hard drive. After getting everything booted up, I honestly haven’t had any significant boot times, and I’m overall very pleased with its performance. I will probably purchase a couple more for an on-board RAID drive I have planned. This review is subject to amendment pending failure.

Our IT guy always used Western Digital hard drives for years when adding or replacing an old drive. Therefore, when I needed to replace an internal drive on my workstation, I purchased this WD Blue drive which was easy to install and (so far) is performing excellently using routine applications.

No problem installing this product. Do your research first for the operating system changes at boot up. Just google it. Make sure that you have the correct wire to connect the drive to the motherboard as it is not included in the package. I have 10 Terabytes of disk storage on my main machine now. That is enough for backup purposes and video editing. I also have so portable units for backups. You can never have enough storage space available.

Works as intended. Fast installation. Read and write speed is optimal for long term storage of files. Cheap enough that it won't break the bank, and fast enough for every day use!

Massive. Fast and quiet. Not ssd speeds but have found for just storage of documents photos and archives of data that speed isn't as essential to us as size and longevity so this 4 teg unit met all the needs at a substantially cheaper cost. We added it to an ibuypower gaming rig that came with a 500gig SSD giving us the best of both worlds. Caught it on sale so win win.

I was looking for something with a lot of storage for my computer, but didn't need something necessarily fast to load and so I got this because it was on sale at the right time. I only go with WD or Seagate for these storage devices. It was very easy to connect and format.

Good reviews on Best Buy summary sold me on this item. There were some negative reviews, I thought maybe faulty installation or some reason other than bad product. BUT... first drive I bought would not load operating system, fought with it 10 days then returned. Second drive loaded first try. I guess there are lemons made anywhere so can be expected. Best Buy stood behind return policy, I traded bad drive for new in 10 minutes, took home and had computer operating within a couple hours. Since I had no diagnostics to figure out if first drive was actually BAD I worked with it far longer than I should have. Thumbs up to Best Buy for standing behind product with no hassle return.

I got these for my Gaming Desktop and for the Rig I built for my cousin and these not only have a great storage capacity, the read and write speeds are very fast as advertised as well.
Came from using 2TB Seagate Barracuda Hard Drives and did some reading on these outperforming those, I won't be returning to Seagate for any future Hard Drive purchases!!!
