A great price from Best Buy for this hard drive. Great brand name (Western Digital). Easy to installation into my Dell Studio 1749 laptop. Everything running fine and smooth.

I have only had this hard drive for about a month but so far it is working great and the price was right. I did some comparison shopping and didn't find anything that was considerably cheaper.

If you need to replace a drive in your laptop, this is a great one to choose. It will run for many years and you can always count on Western Digital. They are my go to drive every time.

Saw that this was the one to buy after doing some research about upgrading my PS3. I needed more space for my PS3 and this did the trick. Went from 12GB to 500GB (about 435GB usable) in no time at all. Seems to be working fine. No problems.

These hard drives are great by any standard, and the prices have gone down substantially compared to just a few years ago. WD is the way to go.

I use WD drives in every system I build. Samsung laptop came with a Samsung HDD. It was noisy and slow...then it died...and evidently that is a normal thing for their laptops without SSDrives. Laptop was 2 years old. HDDs die. I understand this. However, never had a WD one croke on me, so WD went in as the replacement. Faster and quieter than the Sammy. Should last longer then the laptop's tech.

We replaced the hard drive in a MAC pro notebook with this western digital. Very fast with plenty of storage space. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

Its a hard, so it is just expected to work. Installation was simple. I loaded Ubuntu for an operating system and it has run flawlessly ever since.

Good HD for the price. BB did not have a seagate drive for my laptop so i took a chance on this. I usually buy seagate drives as i have had a couple WD drives fail in the past. Never had a seagate fail me yet. so far so good.

The hard drive was very well priced and the 500 GB was double the original hard drive. Setup and program installations were done without problems.

Overall, I am happy with this product. Bought it to replace the hard drive on my daughter's Macbook. It works well, has a lot of storage capacity and programs on computer run smoothly. Very good price for 500 GB.

Easy install, works like it should. Had a hard drive fail and this replacement was exactly what it's advertised as. Fast, quiet and consistent.

I had the Geek Squad replace my hard drive for my older Dell Studio 1737 Laptop. Geek Squad did all the install and reinstalled my Operating System. Shon did a great job, kept in contact with me and also remined me that I still get the Windows 10 Upgrade for free. But had to decline as where I work is not ready for Window 10(that is a different story). So big Thanks for Shon and the Geek Squad of Store #1077 in Sierra Vista AZ. The hard drive is very good It has been for a month now and no Problems.
