i thought i was in for some major problems and great big expensenses...but i was highly mistaken. After talking with experienced staff members i was given some insight that would fix my problem and took it. the products i purchased were reasonably priced...and attended to my problem at hand...and now everything is working out great.

I had bought this to replace a bad laptop hard drive and was able to install without issues..works great so far.

I've used several brands of hard drive, but the only brand I keep buying is WD. They are fast, work like they should, and last longer than other brands. This drive is a great drive for the price.

Bought the WD hard drive to replace a failing drive on my laptop. Easy to install for those who may be intimidated to replace a hard drive, as for me I have bought and replace HDD for different Laptops/PC. I did a fresh OS install for my laptop. So far, so good my laptop is working fine. WD does provide Acronis True image Software that you download free from WD website to clone your HDD that would save you the trouble of reinstalling a fresh OS install, but know that it will clone the HDD for only using in the same laptop or PC as a back up and it will save you the trouble of having to reinstall your programs. The price was fair and the availability in stock to buy the HDD in the store is good.

The hard drive in my lap top was going out and I needed a replacement. I did not want to wait to get one on line due to the number of days it wound take to receive it. Checked out the hard drives at Best Buy I did not need anything large, the 500 GB they had in stock was just what I needed. Thanks Best Buy

I always have always purchased Western Digital Drives for their excellent perfomance and great warranty. Also, there are tools online to test and low level format these drives if the need arises. Thanks Western Digital and thank you Best Buy for carrying such a quality product.

I bought this for a client who had their hard drive crash on them, and it was just the thing she needed. Has a 2 year warranty, performance of the drive was better than her old one was even when it was new, and she was extremely happy with her laptop when I returned it to after repair.

Had this hard drive put in my 4 year old laptop to replace the original, which died 3 months ago. Works well so far. One of the benefits of replacing the hard drive is that all the junk is cleaned out and you can start from scratch accumulating new junk.

I would always recommend an SSD if you are going to purchase a hard drive. However, if you do not want to pay the extra $30-50 for one, this is a great alternative. I have been using WD drives for a while and they have only failed for me after 4-5 years of use, which is normal.

Bought this hard drive to put into my Xbox 360. I used a few tools to "hack" this hard drive so my Xbox 360 would recognize it and it worked like a charm! If you're computer savvy, you can get massive storage for your console for a fraction of the cost of an "official" hard drive.

This is a good replacement to a friend's failed hdd. Easy to install and setup.
