Needed to replace drive for laptop and was recommended by Geek Squad rep to go with this product. Agreed with it and since then it is very stable, and apparently the mechanisms are built better to last longer. No problems and highly recommend this product.

I feel like if you're buying WD drives you already know how great they are. But if you don't: they're great. I've never had an issue with a WD hard drive, and now I have no issues with their SSDs either. It's a no-brainer, get an SSD from WD!

Purchased this for my 2015 MacBook Pro 15" and did the install myself with zero issues. A big plus was not having to purchase a separate drive mount since the mounting screws are installed directly to the housing

Its not as fast as samsung ssd, but its a big improvement over PNY, using it for windows boot drive.

I have used the WD 500GB as an installed drive and as a plugged in USB drive, and in both setups the drive functioned perfectly.

It was as expected. I needed more storage and this gave me the additional I requested.

I needed a drive to replace a conventional drive and this worked well. Also, buy from Microcenter since Best Buy has decided to not support small businesses that are resellers. I guess it is ok for them to make money, just not us.

Good deal on a ssd that boosted the speed on my older system greatly. Always boots in seconds.

Blue SSD 500g from Western Digital. I bought i when it is on sale and used the reward from BB. My Dell laptop with 250g started to fill up so migrate to 500g gave me plenty of spaces. So far, I have no issue at all.

The Geek Squad found my hard drive to be defective. They picked this drive to fix my computer's problem. So far no problems. I have trusted the Geek Squad to take care of my electronic for many years.

This hard drive is perfect and I’ll be buying another one too. I na of a great deal and when ever I purchase any electronics I go through Best Buy! Just knowing they stand behind their products and warranties are life!

the wd brand has come along ways, great competition has push many brand to get better and cheaper.

It would have been an 'excellent' but I left all of the paperwork at the store and no one called to inform me and I was not able to return to the store as I am 86 and have to have someone to drive me, Yet do not have the paperwork.
