I replaced my old spinning hard drive with this one and it was very easy to install. I had to buy a separate mount (Best buy sells insignia brand) and everything went well. I have been using it for over a month now and works great.

Bought this as a upgrade for thr hdd in my original xbox one and it made the system run sooo much smoother and faster. Even games like cyberpunk which have been known for having issues on the xbox1 plays with the ssd

great price for this ssd 59. easy to install don't be afraid to install it. if you like computers. download macrium software, you can clone your pc to this new drive, if you have windows 10 for sure. nothing will be lost.

Speed and reliability have been great. Waited some time to review to make sure it could handle all the video and audio editing I do on a daily basis. No problems with work flow and realiability.

Why would anyone go with a regular hdd when the ssd don't cost much more and are twice as fast?

i needed to upgrade my ps3 storage, this almost increase my storage by 3x, from 160gb, so now i have plenty of room for storage, & seems to make my ps3 run a bit more faster, so i dont lag when online gaming, or other activities!

Recently my drive failed and no way to say. This is a very capable unit that provided the power and the flexibility that I needed on my system and at a fair and reasonable price. A bargain like this has seldom been seem.

Not the highest end SSD available but a great value for the money spent. As fast as a person would need for a general computing desktop. Boots linux to a full desktop on a older amd 990fxa UEFI motherboard in about 5-10 seconds

Good reliable and fast SSD for upgrading your older Mac or PC. I use this in my old MacBooks and iMacs along with a RAM upgrade and its a new world of performance for the older Macs. Highly recommend.

Saved my 10 year old cheep Walmart acer laptop. I first maxed out the ram, still could hardly function. After this upgrade, as you would expect, it functions like a computer. It's not my daily driver, but with 16 gb ram, this hard drive, and a new battery, I don't have to go get coffee while I wait for windows to load. All in, 450 for the laptop in 2011, and 200 in upgrades last year, I can run windows 10, Adobe, chrome, and any office app without frustration or input lag. I wouldn't try to game on it, or edit video, but this machine couldn't do that new anyway. Moral of the story, if you can buy an upgradeable machine, it'll pay for itself down the road.

WD has always had a good reputation, and this SSD keeps this current. Easily installed and works great. Very fast as your primary drive. You'll be very happy with the results.

This Western Digital drive is a great drive for the money. Works flawlessly and have not had any issues with it at all. Has good read/write speeds as well. Easy to use for cloning and installing as an upgrade.

I have a Mid-2012 MacBook Pro and I finally decided to change out the hard drive! Since most of what I need is in cloud storage 509GB SSD was perfect for me and the price was good! Have my old Mac a new life!

My laptop was slow to boot and run programs now it boots in 16 sec and programs launch fast looks like a 8 times boost in speed westerndigital clone program worked great and when i switched the drive every thing was as the original drive was great product

Replaced the HDD in a 10 year old PC with this as a boot drive. Excellent speeds and completely revitalized an old machine. Great alternative to the Crucial MX

Not much to say. It's an SSD. Not the fastest on the market, but you won't really notice. I normally run PCs, but I picked this up to update a 2014 Mac Mini I grabbed just to maintain familiarity with OS X. The Mini (not the new ones, this was a 2014) came with a 5200RPM notebook drive and took forever to load, even with a fresh OS. If you're in this situation, whether it's a Mac mini, a PC desktop or laptop with a slow drive, the difference is night and day. The mini went from a several minute boot time and extremely slow speeds to downright peppy. I've done this same upgrade on multiple notebooks with the same results. This is a great and simple update to anything saddled with a slow, spinning hard drive.

If you looking to replace ur standard HDD and want to switch to SSD, WD blue 500gb is way to go. Its great for daily usage with enough storage to save all you pics and docs. Reduce your booting up tremendously. Love it. So far, so good.
