This ssd made a big difference in an older laptop. It brought it back to life, now my wife or kids don't hate using thw laptop haha. Great price for a great purchase, i recommend.

as of 2020, this drive has a 5 year warranty. not 3 year warranty as listed. Samsung 860 evo might be a little faster in some cases, so you have to weigh the price paid.

Bought MANY of these drives, most people hate WD. Love being different using a great drive. Never had any go bad yet. Turned a single core AMD to a screaming laptop

I cloned my original HDD to this new WD blue SSD and the results were amazing!! Before it took a minute plus to load in Windows 10 but now it only takes 12 seconds..very happy with my purchase..

The WD Blue 500GB SSD is a very good buy. For the money paid, this SSD is very fast, reliable, and is an excellent choice for an internal C Drive, or as an external USB drive for backups, data, pictures, etc.

I love this hard drive. One Hundred times faster than my old Hard drive with much more storage. I should have done this years ago. I am so glad that my tech suggested this hard drive.

I purchased this SSD for my MacBook pro 13". It works great and instant connection. (You gotta love hating Apple). Years ago, the cost was $2 per GB. This SSD drive was on sale and it cost me 20 cents per GB. You can't beat that price anywhere.

Simple to install and configure to upgrade an older HDD drive. Very lightweight, and blazing fast boot times. This drive will start up and access data at blazing speeds. Doesn't overheat either.

They work great as an upgrade from a HDD to a SSD. The free Acronis software (have to download) to clone works without a hitch no matter the other brand HDD.

As usual, WD drives work well and are reliable. Would definitely recommend!

What to say? I have not run any benchmark tests or anything along those lines, but this SSD drive installed with no problem and seems to be working fast and well. Running OS X Mojave on an old machine.

Main drive blew up so I had to get another one. My PC boots up in half the time now. Great purchase, no complaints. WD has been hit and miss with their SSDs but this one is solid. Would buy again.

Not the fastest drive, but definitely one of the best value. Used it to upgrade an old spinning disk in a friends computer and now it runs better than new.

Fast no move parts. Runs cool temp at 460MegaBytes/sec. 5 year warranty and do not forget to download WD Dashboard. I created a bootable USB to erase the entire SSD quickly. Its a hidden gem.

I've purchased many (100+) WD Blue hard drives & western digital's SSD line does not disappoint. I've never had a DOA and have yet to see one fail. They're not always the cheapest, but when it matters, I go blue!
