Putting this WD SSD in my wife's 1 year old i7 laptop finally woke that thing right up. Before that, she pretty much refused to even use it, much preferring my 6 yr old i5 laptop, with it's retro-fitted Samsung SSD, since that old thing was vastly outperforming her new one! Now I finally have my old laptop back! The cloning software, from WD's websight worked perfectly to copy her original HD & OS over to the new SSD, along with the use of a portable SATA HD enclosure that I already had on hand. Those inexpensive enclosures are really worth buying, anytime you upgrade to an SSD, since you can then use your original drive as a removable drive or for an OS & file back up.

Cloned a mechanical drive with this SSD. The increase in speed is like night and day. In the process of replacing all my drives with SSD's. I would highly recommend this drive.

Easy to install and flawless performance thus far. Windows 10 used to take more than 10 minutes to load and be usable. Now it loads in less than 1 minute.

Had a spare pc. I bought this to build a computer for my son. Everything went well. Windows installed in minutes. The pc boots and runs fast. I would recommend.

Great deal on this SSD. After cloning, this drive has brought new life and speed to my older PC. Recommend all to upgrade their spinning drives to an SSD.

Western Digital SSD was on sale so I decided to give it a try. Had no problems with installation of windows 10 home. Runs very well. Will purchase again.

Price and size make this an easy upgrade or addition.

Just needed a bit more space in my friend's build. Basically plug and play, popped in the SATA and power cable and initialized the drive and Voila! works like a charm.

I purchased this to replace a failing standard Hard Drive. The load up to my desktop is super fast now compared to my older drive. Highly recommend using a SSD for operating system and programs .

Your basic SATA SSD drive that is easy to install and works great for running games and storing high definition videos. A great price for a great product.

I have a 7-year old desktop that had slowed down quite a bit. With the lockdown I needed a quick way to upgrade it so my kid could do his school work. This SSD has turned out to be a fantastic investment. I also got the Apricorn cable and the SSD tray. I used the Apricorn data transfer cable to move all data from the old harddrive to this one. I had to leave it on overnight (turn-off all power saving mode and screensavers). I followed the instructions from the Youtube replace the old HD with this SSD and it works great. Thanks BB for getting me the drive so promptly (next day). All round great investment.

Dropped this into my desktop after the one that was in there quit working.Easy installation,pc picked it up,and has been running great for about a month now.

Overall great harddrive. Windows 10 opens in seconds compared to a standard harddrive. For the price would definitely recommend
