Huge upgrade for a laptop

It makes everything faster and should make the battery last longer as well. Note you'll need an external drive case, or a usb to sata cable to transfer over the contents of your old drive along with the software to do so. I believe Best Buy also sells that as a bundle for about 25$. I had an external case and used some free linux tools to do it.

In the past, we were always told we’d have to get a whole new laptop. Works great. And I realize that for these major transitions, not everything carries over perfectly. Good for cloning

I have used both WD and Samsung, and I find there is a whole ton of difference between them. However, I don't ever see these drives at the original cost, which makes me wonder what the 'real' price is. Acronis can be used to clone for free and works really well.

The software for cloning the drive was not good. I had to find another software "Easus To Do Backup" to clone the drive. It is working well so far.

Omg! Best decision ever. If you ever need to swap hard drive on your pc or laptop look up rodnxtdor on facebook and ill hell you!
