Top of the line Sata SSD

I recommend this as an upgrade for any computer user, if you’re upgrading from any platter drive, you WILL see a huge boost in both speed and efficiency.

Great replacement for an old HDD

There is a significative improvement on start time and access to information. Installation was straightforward and with no issues on the size, connectivity or performance. Nice way to add a little more use to an old equipment.

Good Cheap SSD

I don't know if this would be good for storing any games or anything like that but for basic use with opening windows and opening apps or documents, it's fine.

I put this one in my Aunt's laptop that is a whopping 8 years old, and breathed some new life into it. She's not that fast on her PC but a great startup time now and also a way better user experience for program load. Western Digital for me is a great product and love that long warranty too.

Good price and performance solid state drive.

Easy to install with provided software. The 5 year warranty is reassuring. Note that the drive does not encrypt data on the drive. This is a great upgrade for older laptops and desktops, the SSD will provide a very noticeable system performance increase.

Performance is Great--One Possibly Unrelated Issue

I installed the drive into a Toshiba Satellite e45-t and installed a fresh copy of Windows 10. It might not be related, but ever since I installed the drive, my computer will not shut down properly. Some of the hardware remains on, even after shutdown. I actually think this is a software problem (haven't pinned it down yet), but because it happened to come up after installing the drive, I'll mention it here. Also good to note that it doesn't seem like that many others had this issue.
