The employee I dealt with was very efficient and knowledgeable and I was pleased to b e able to upgrade my computer with this solid state drive rather than having to purchase a whole new computer unit. Since I am on a fixed budget, I was very pleased indeed to be able to make this upgrade.

I am using this as the boot drive for my home movie service. Other drives such as the sandisk did not work well with the freenas operating system based on FreeBSD. The drive performs well. I also have one of these in my windows 10 laptop. Exceptional boot times for your standard SSDs. Overall a great product well worth the money.

This was a great replacement for the hard drive in my laptop that was dying. I used a data transfer cable that I purchased at the store and I will write a review on that as well. But this works like a charm and is fast. No problems and have been running it for over a month.

Solid reliable SSD. Not as fast as some of my others but for the price and warranty well worth it. Great replacement for traditional hard drive in laptop or desktop

It's a easy install and it is fast! but don't expect it to speed up your internet connection only your provider can do that.

Changing to a SSD has made my 10 year old desktop computer run extremely fast. (I also upgraded from windows 7 to 10) I was thinking of purchasing a new computer but will be waiting to make a new purchase since my computer is running like new. I only use my desktop to go online and use Microsoft office.

I bought a brand new computer from a clearance site and was severely disappointed when I used it the first time. Super slow and laggy. I oped it up and discovered it had a regular spinning drive installed. I purchased and installed this WD SSD and the computer was a speed demon.

Bought this to migrate OS from an HPE-510Y's 1.5 hard drive to this 500GB SSD to bring new life into it. Now it boots up almost as quickly as a new PC with an SSD. You cannot undervalue how an SSD changes your perspective on older PCs. You don't need to replace the whole thing because it slows down, just one key component!

Needed to upgrade my boot drive to a larger storage capacity, and i'm very satisfied with this. Faster boot times, easy to transfer from the previous SSD that i had, and generally would buy another one of a larger capacity if i needed to.

Hard drive failed in my laptop. Computer repair suggested I purchase this SSD. He installed in laptop and reinstalled Windows. To my surprise my old laptop now acts like a extremely fast new one. The time on start up is less than 30 seconds. every thing I do is extremely FAST. EXTREMELY PLEASED!

This is a really affordable must to speed up a clunky computer. Because I work on other peoples computers I like to speed them up as much as possible so that when I visit a client to work on their computer I don't have to wait for things to load.

My original hard drive failed in my 5 year old notebook. I replaced it with this drive instead of buying a new notebook. It works great and is faster than ever. So for about $70 I should delay having to buy another notebook for another year or so. I use the notebook for emai, internet browsing, and Microsoft Office.

This WD blue solid-state drive was installed to my laptop computer and it’s working great. the staff at the Geek squad was awesome at helping me figure out the problem and corrected it to make this computer work the way that I want it to work. My computer has done a good job for me and I am glad that a new hard drive could be installed at a reasonable price. The Best Buy store in Green Bay has been very helpful to resolve the problem with my laptop computer.

Solid state drive provides faster read write speed ,than a mechanical drive . The solid state drive replaces my main hard drive in my computer . It is much quieter first off . The solid state drive provides more reliable storage and less chance of failure than a mechanical drive .

First I bought one WD internal SSD for my legion y530. I installed most games on this storage and it ran fast enough in all situations. So I bought another one for my desktop and installed Ubuntu 18.04 and Win10 Pro on it. Dual booting is first enough on this storage and whenever I want to switch to any OS, it loads quite fast.

Recently my laptop started hanging up during restarts and intermittently when accessing my files. I have have Best Buy's "Total Tech Support Membership" so I took my laptop to the Geek Squad and have them troubleshoot the issue. I asked them to contact me before making any repairs so I could determine if I wanted the laptop repaired or if I should replace it. They contacted me and told me they determined that the hard drive was failing. They provided me with a quote for the repair and I told them too make the repair. They replaced the failing hard drive with a "Solid State Drive", no moving parts. I was amazed at the speed I experience during a reboot and during file access. Thanks again to the Geek Squad techs that worked on my case. They were professional, courteous and the turn around time was only a few days. This is the second year that I have had "Total Tech Support Membership" and it has turned out to be a great investment.

This drive was purchased via the Geek Squad to replace the HDD in my old-but-still-serviceable PC. I am pleased with the performance I am receiving thus far: I look for this happy state of affairs to go on into the indeterminate future. I am also pleased with the service the Geek Squad has given.
