Working great with my Lenovo IdeaCenter K410 dekstop. Giving me much better boot time. I would, however, appreciate if the product came with a little instruction how to install it on mother board; it didn't work initially when connected to the IDE ports, but worked finally when connected to the black eIDE port. I felt relieved.

The difference this drive made over the original spinning drive was dramatic! The best money I've ever spent for the performance gain. Western Digital has been around for ever and has a good reputation. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

This replaced a disk hard drive in a few year old laptop. What a difference, Im sold on SS drives. Can be a little tricky to install and image. I use a Best Buy USB to ext. hard drive adapter cable. SS drive and adapter cable worth the price. Have used a number of times for laptop upgrades.

Had a hard drive failure, and chose to pop in an SSD rather than put in another hard drive. It works, has no problems, and is much more reliable than a disk drive. What more can one ask for.. Western Digital is a very long established brand, one that I trust. They seem to be moving more towards SSD lately and phasing out HDD.

Put this in and old gateway computer to replace the old hdd. Runs super fast and boots up in half the time.

This is my first WD ssd. I’ve always used a different brand. But I’ve always been a fan of WD’s physical drives so when I caught this on sale it seemed like a good choice. I used it to replace the hdd in an old Mac Mini and it’s worked great. SSDs are kind of all the same size so it fit fine with no problems.

Brought my lap top in be checked out as it wouldn't load. Turned out the hard drive was failing. Geek squad replaced it with this S.S. hard drive. Reloaded my data. They told me it would be fast. That would be an understatement. Only takes about 10 seconds to load after startup.

It's basically just your typical 500 gigabyte Serial ATA Drive but it works great it's fast five year warranty is very nice to have backed up by one of the oldest players in the game grade for a basic upgrade on an older computer or if you just need some extra storage

I used this drive to replace a 2.5" sata hard drive which was failing. The installation was easy because it was the same physical size. I was able to clone the original drive and boot from this drive. i am impressed with the improvement in computing time with this drive.

Western Digial has always had quality products.. nice to have a reasonably priced 500GB SSD that I can get locally from Best Buy

Fast! Swapped out the old spinny drive in a late 2011 MacBook Pro with this drive and it’s given my laptop new life. Running High Sierra on it no problem and will be updating soon to Big Sur! Yes you can! Totally worth it, couldn’t be happier

Replaced hard drive that was original to the computer. This hard drive is much, much faster than the original one was. It’s now a joy to use this computer. Takes no time at all to boot up. Requires seconds now instead of many minutes previously. Very pleased with this product.

This drive is a great way to upgrade your laptop speed, especially if it's a few years old and showing some age. Easily clone your original drive using something like Macrium Reflect Free, and you're up and running in no time!

Buy sata fkr old mitherboards by nand version fkr new motherboard. Nand drives need to come down in price the sata drives likw this are bargain baement prices great value but nkt as fast as nad drives with sata connections the wd makes as well.

This solid state drive is fast and it’s the absolute best way to make a slow computer a lot faster! Don’t waste your money on software that claims to speed up your computer. Use your money for this instead and you won’t be disappointed!

Upgraded my wife's laptop with this SSD drive and the difference was night and day. The laptop went from a couple of minutes to boot to a few seconds. Swapping was a breeze the laptop was like brand new. Great that it was in stock and I didn't have to wait for it to be delivered

After using many different brands of SSD in five computers and 2 servers, I haven't had problem with using WD. I'm usually running seagate equipment. This one was added to powerhouse server running services and Plex center with Windows Server 2016 OS. No configuration work or remapping of the drive due to errors.

Prior to purchasing a solid state drive drive, my laptop was some sluggish. Once installed, the WD Blue SSD significant sped up my laptop to the point that it's actually running faster than it was new. Because I had this degree of success, I now have purchased a second WD Blue SSD for another laptop.
