This 500 GB drive that was installed by the Geek Squad on my Hp laptop was the right solution to our problem. It use to be very slow and would freeze up. Now it boots up and downloads incredibly fast!

Great little SSD. Used it to replace a terrible 5,400 RPM hard drive in my grandma's 5 year old desktop and also got her a second stick of RAM. It can now boot, shut down, then boot again in the time it took just to boot before.

I have always had problems with an old Compaq CQ60 laptop running slow. After doing a clean install of Windows 10 with this SSD it runs faster than when I first got the laptop over 8 or 9 years ago. The SSD is doing an excellent job for a computer that only has 4BG onboard memory. I did have to find a driver for the co-processor which helped speed thinks up.

I've been a long time fan of WD products and have not had any issues since days of mechanical drives. I regularly use this drive to upgrade older laptops. Its amazing how much snappier an old laptop can be with an SSD swapped in.

This was a replacement for an old hard disk drive in an old notebook computer. It made my computer boot up and run faster, quieter, and is so much lighter than before.

I installed this WD SSD in a Dell (4th generation) Core i3 laptop and it performs unbelievably as you would expect compared to a Samsung SSD. As I did read the reviews, this newer SSD model from WD lives up to it's trusted brand name.

Okay it's a SSD but we used this in concert with a hard drive and did a partition and made a ready boost to load faster. We were going to move the whole drive but did it this way. Windows now boots X3 times from before and we have an area for game files (Sons computer).

Bought this to replace the hard drive in my 2012 MacBook Pro. It’s like a new computer only better. It boots up in less than 30 seconds and programs open in seconds. It’s also quieter, cooler and the battery lasts longer. Highly recommend.

Hard to beat the WD Blue 500gb SSD. Fast data transfer rates, WD quality, and at a sale price of $65 it’s cheaper than slower competitors. Highly recommend this upgrade to anyone who wants to stretch extra life out of their laptop.

I used this in my new PC build. I've only ever used old school HDDs and man do you notice the difference! Especially in booting up. This was a great price for what it is and from a very reputable company. Very happy with my purchase.

Used this SSD drive in my older all-in-one pc after it's old hard drive went bad. Oh... much much faster. Boots up almost immediately and shuts down just as fast. System is faster all together. Happy with purchase.

Bought this about a month ago for my dead hard drive on my windows 10 laptop. This is easy to replace (except for the tiny secret screws that require a little tool kit). Happy with my purchase.

Added this to my 2015 Mac Pro. Wow it runs like a almost new computer. Quick startup, pulls multi apps quickly. The old one was to old and slow this drive brought new live back to my Mac.

Needed a new hard drive for my wife's ASUS six year old laptop. This is what was recommended by the Geek Squad. They transferred her data from the old drive to the new drive and installed the drive. Painless.

this gave my old second generation Core i5 laptop a very significant speed boost for very little investment. very easy to clone my Windows install with free tools (none included) and a SATA to USB drive dock (Not included)

Its something that I should have done long ago. I finally upgraded to Windows 10 and with that, ditched the old mechanical HD. What a difference! I was so pleased with the results that I did the same thing with the family laptop.

This has the basics you’ll need to upgrade any laptop or desktop PC that has a mechanical hard drive. Hands down the biggest upgrade you can make. Great performance for the price, would definitely recommend to a friend.
