new 500 GB drive

Nice drive......
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this drive to update my 7 year old Dell 17" laptop...Everything worked as planned, use Acronis to clone the old drive to the WD SSD and shut down the PC...Swapped the new drive in and away we went...Very nice SSN, much faster than the old Seagate 7200rpm stock drive in the PC...Great price on sale and good quality hardware......

Well worth it, the speed and stability of the drive. Buy this for that older PC or laptop if you are tired of waiting 5-10 minutes for your computer to boot up.

Hard Drive review

I couldn't get this one to work reliably, but I believe it's because there's something in the bios that the office installed (old work computer). It's worked flawlessly for other data transfers in a little USB case.
