Western Digital SSD

Used a 5.25" drive bay adapter to mount the 2.5" Solid State Drive into a mid-tower case without a factory 2.5" drive mount.

harddrive seems to be working fine

Like having a new laptop

I signed up for the geek squad program and they have been wonderful. The online tech support connected my printer remotely when the in store geek squad couldn't.

The "Hard" drive that made my life easier

My computer had been so slow that I avoided using it, unless it was absolutely necessary. Now I spend a little time each day on it, mostly because the work that the Geek Squad did!

Seems to work OK

My laptop, that I was ready to replace, now works with the failed drive replaced. Maybe my relatively inexpensive laptop can now last a few more years. This was way less expensive than buying a new machine..

Adding Power

Even installing this in an older machine brought back its vital signs. I love the fact that this part is easy to install and QUIET. Yes, something we often forget. A++ all around. Recommended BUY.

It had been bought on a black Friday sale. Though it was a great computer in terms of processor and other features, the standard hard drive was completely out of place and over taxed. This made my PC new again, seriously.

Fits in laptops.

Best upgrade for a mechanical SATA HDD

The only problem when you use the bundled image software acronics, it does not boot the new SSD drive, I end up downloading a freeware image software and it works.
