But I've started to have these totally die - be completely unrecognized and hang the system while it tries to figure out what the drive is. It seems worse if you use it with an external enclosure, even with properly removing it. And the WD site has gone from "takes 5 minutes" to "Nope, that's not a valid something," "Oh, I'm timing out." "Oh, no, you need to be over HERE now." "Oh, you had an account before? We can't find you." I'll stick with Samsung from now on, I think. Pity, I really liked these drives. Now I don't feel like I can trust them.
