    Had a gaming laptop that was lagging after a keyboard replacement. Took the chance to invest and replace the hardward/hard drive. Great choice, works like new. great speed and really affordable.

    I've had great luck with these drives on several older machines. Needed a couple more recently. Best Buy had the lowest price and insanely fast free shipping. What's not to like?

    My PC took 10 minutes or more to start. I had Best Buy swap out the drive that shipped with the PC a solid state drive. I had had the pc for 10 years. It now runs like a brand new machine.

    After reading reviews, I replaced my current hdd also WD with the SSD and the software took care of the mirror image. Again, it you're replacing the HDD make sure it's a WD drive or the software may not work. My computer boots up super fast now.

    Wasn't the drive that I went into the store to buy, but it was what they had in stock. Drive was a replacement for a failing drive and is perform well as expected.

    This is a great basic SSD to upgrade an older laptop or desktop to breathe in new life. Swapped this out for the slow mechanical drive on a laptop that was otherwise a pretty good machine (i5 processor, 12 GB RAM) and it was night and day for startup times, etc. I've installed many Western Digital SSD's to upgrade older computers and always been happy. I appreciate you can download a free copy of Acronis (WD Edition) to clone your hard drive. Oddly, for this particular upgrade Acronis would not work so I had to download a trial copy of Macirum Reflect, which worked a charm. However this is the first time I've had an issue with Acronis, so there may have been some random issue with this particular laptop. I recommend this as an inexpensive upgrade which will have a big impact on performance!
