    The WD blue is running good in my ancient W10 Dell precision. I was able to clone the old spinning drive using the WD application and it actually worked. The Dell is running good again.

    Should have changed from hdd to ssd years ago. Reinstalled Win 10 Pro onto this ssd, perform a couple updates, and now the pc boots up as fast as my Mac mini m4 — 20 secs or less. This ssd is fast!!

    It was easy to purchase this device at my local Best Buy. The employee reviewed my options for data storage and came to the conclusion that this was the optimum purchase. The SDD was quickly installed and up and running. It solved my problem and I am happy with the operation.

    I bought this to replace a 7 year old 2.5” internal HP laptop SATA hard drive that had become very slow on startup and just doing regular tasks. The laptop had plenty of CPU power i7 and lots of ram 16gb but the hard drive was slowing it down. It comes with instructions on the box to download Acronis True Image for WD. I also bought a SATA 2.5” to USB 3 cable to clone my existing hard drive since my laptop only had one hard drive space. Once cloned, I closed everything down took apart the laptop (great instructions on how to do this on you tube) and replaced the old drive with this new one. Booted right up and was very fast like it used to be. Had it for about a month or so and very very happy it was a great improvement.

    I outgrew my WD 500GB SSD Blue drive. This popped in and up/running. I used CloneZilla to move over to the new drive. No problems thus far. It's amazing how much faster a SSD vs. HDD. I hope WD keeps up the quality control.
