Western Digital SDD

The employee reviewed my options for data storage and came to the conclusion that this was the optimum purchase. The SDD was quickly installed and up and running. From slow to wow

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace a 7 year old 2.5” internal HP laptop SATA hard drive that had become very slow on startup and just doing regular tasks. The laptop had plenty of CPU power i7 and lots of ram 16gb but the hard drive was slowing it down. It comes with instructions on the box to download Acronis True Image for WD. I also bought a SATA 2.5” to USB 3 cable to clone my existing hard drive since my laptop only had one hard drive space. Once cloned, I closed everything down took apart the laptop (great instructions on how to do this on you tube) and replaced the old drive with this new one. Booted right up and was very fast like it used to be. Had it for about a month or so and very very happy it was a great improvement.

The old hard drive was copied to the new one and it works well. The data was copied, but some of functions are nt working correctly.

RAM for computer: Yeah GEEK Squad
