    I have an old laptop, ASUS X550CA from like 2014 or something which had an old seagate HDD installed by the previous owner, which just failed. The laptop originally had Windows 8 on it, so it was older by today's standards. I bought this SSD, replaced the HDD in minutes and installed Windows 10 with ease from a bootable USB drive. Runs noticeably faster and is SILENT which is great because the old HDD was super loud and annoying. So long story short, I just extended the life of my old laptop by hopefully several more years as long as the motherboard continues to keep chugging along.

    Bought this to replace a dying ssd from an HP laptop that barely ran. This fixed everything and it runs as well as a 5 year old laptop should. No regrets.

    Installed it myself. Good upgrade for my computer. I have a Dell inspiron from 2020. I had upgraded the RAM already. There maybe better options but this does the job.

    I needed a new hard drive as mine had went south for the winter. A quick trip to BestBuy and they has a 500 gig Western Digital Blue drive for $40.00 and it is plenty fast and was just a joy to install. In an hour was back up, had all my software installed, which included Netflix, Sling, ect. I use no cable only online entertainment on an old HP Z420 with 32 gigs of ram and this WD HD is really fast and almost free. Thank you Best Buy.

    Just not ready to give up my old laptop. I was so happy the Geek Squad was able to retrieve all my data (documents, pics, personal folders) from the old HD and get it all set up on the new HD. Now I have the time to explore the idea of a new laptop and not feel pressured to before I'm ready. Big sigh of relief!!

    I buy these as OS drives for old laptops at work. They are great. Ive only had one fail on me, but that was because i forgot to enable trim on a Mac. So that's my bad. It took over 4 years for it to fail without trim enabled, so that is pretty impressive. I also bought a 4TB drive for a scratch drive for my video editing computer. I've had a great experience with these drives over the past half a decade.
