I was so happy the Geek Squad was able to retrieve all my data (documents, pics, personal folders) from the old HD and get it all set up on the new HD. Now I have the time to explore the idea of a new laptop and not feel pressured to before I'm ready. Big sigh of relief!!

Good basic replacement disk

Warning though the drive does NOT come with screws and I had to scrounge around for them fortunately I had 1 screw for it that was the correct metric thread. Note also that while the drive is a little faster than the mechanical one it replaced, it is not a going to make the PC a screaming fast system

Great value with solid and reliable specifications

This drive did not have the highest speed but it was rated highly for reliability. Plus it was a brand name that the client recognized and was comfortable with. It was a great buy and satisfied the client!

Mom is happy with her new, fast, solid state drive

Instead of taking several minutes to boot to Windows, it took about 6 seconds to get to the password screen. Needless to say, Mom is very happy. She feels like she got a new computer. This is a standard sized 2.5 inch solid state hard drive. Her computer is about 5 year old.

Very fast

It is at lease 5 times faster then my old mechanical drive. I see some people had problems with the drive failing after a short time, but I installed the new firmware from WD and so far it works great.
