Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is less a comment on the drive itself - I've bought a bunch of these before, and they were all fine, but difficulties on installing windows onto these and any other WD drives. Long story short, these drive need to have the Intel Rapid Storage technology drivers either slipstreamed into the Windows installer, or on the same USB stick to run, otherwise, these are basically invisible to Windows. This seems to be an issue specifically with WD drives: I've never had this problem with Samsung, Crucial, Kingston, Hynix, or any other SSD I've ever used.
