Very happy with the performance of this hard drive, it makes games load faster than the internal hard drive built into the xbox one x. the only complaint i have is that it can be a bit noisy when installing things to do it but it has quieted down

I love this external HD. It was a simple setup and provides a great back to Microsoft one drive. 8TB was perfect since I have a lot of large files.

Though it is a Hard disk drive, very fast in tranferring large files to it. Very speedy. You won't feel like you are using a hard disk drive. Nice investment

Game Review It does what I want. Which is: Holds all my PS5 and PS4 games. PS5 games cannot be played off of External Hard Drives just FYI. This thing moves data very quickly and makes load times a bit faster than a smaller silent "game drive" if playing PS4 games directly off the drive. As far as noise levels, it can vary... sometimes it just hums (buzzes) while the PS5 is just sitting in rest mode. When moving a 50GB file, it clacks and clunks and makes the sounds. When in constant use playing a PS4 game, it hums sightly and clunks here and there, mostly on reloads or fast travels or something. The noise is the reason for the 4 out of 5, but it's not a deal breaker by any means. Would buy again, recommend.

Great external storage for gaming. Tons of room. Use on my Xbox One X & Xbox Series X. Has functioned flawlessly. Games are accessed quickly, build is solid, & quiet.

Bought this for my ps4. It works and downloads pretty fast. It is a bit noisy but doesn't really bother me while playing. Felt it was the best 8tb option available for ps4 at the sale price of $189.

Have 1.5 TB of SSD for my system but needed more space for recordings from my girlfriend and I. Plenty of storage and works fine with my PC and MacBook Pro. You can hear the HDD spinning but it's not as loud as some people make it seem. It sounds like a normal internal HDD but you just hear it more because it's external. The fan kicks in when it gets hot but you won't be able to hear the HDD and its fan during gaming.

Huge space and a great deal. My mom and dad really love this hard drive. Lots of space for all their pics. Very easy to set up.

Great product tons of storage, it was very easy to set up basically plug and go and push a couple buttons

It is a fast drive. However it is big and loud and takes a little bit to wake up from sleep. I use it for my Plex server and sometimes I have to wait a bit or two for the videos to come up

Works with Xbox as described. Has large capacity and fast file transfer.

Shipping & Handling: Package was delivered the next day and quality packaging kept item in perfect condition. Product: Does exactly what I need it to. Hold data for game titles I have beaten, but a quick transfer back to the ps5 if I want to replay them. With 8 Tb, I doubt I’ll ever run out of storage.

It works as advertised. Not much heat and noise. Great speed and reliability. I don’t know much about gaming. I am using it as backup HD for photos.

Great storage size and speed for being an external HDD for the cost. Works great with my ps4 and I think it’ll be great for years to come with future consoles.

Seems fairly quick on the transfer of files. Wish it were a lil more compact but it’s good otherwise

This EHD is awesome. I use it for my PS5. Easy installation and use. Great space for gaming.

Seems fast enough for photo / video backup. I wouldn't run it off of it. If you use it for what it is there's no reason to get an SSD. It really didn't take that long to transfer almost a TB of data over for backup. Time will tell if it holds up.

Easy to install. Backups reliably with Acronis software. Easy to retrieve files as well.

It was great for my ps4 pro , ps3 ,xbox360 and saving my retro games on my pc
