Had no problem setting it up on his desk top. Very satisfied with it and would recommend it to everyone

Consistent 250MB/s transfers.

About the best that can be expected from a spinning disk. The drive also auto-senses the USB and turns on/off automatically with my computer. I do wish it had an on/off if I didn't want it to turn on, but minor complaint. Overall I'm pleased do far!

The performance on the hard drive is absolutely perfect.

Last of the V8's....

It also has good amount of space for long term storage needs. The pictures look better than the actually product. It's plastic...not metal...bit disappointing there but the hard drive itself is top notch. This is more than likely the end line of hard drive tech...all the money and energy is going towards SSD.

I own USB hard drive enclosure and thing is a better value. You can format it how ever you want and do not need any software to use it.

So much space
