Configured for a gaming backup and I wasted a day because my first backup was 25% bigger than the drive I back up. I had to reformat the drive using the exFAT rather than the default NTFS.

After installation hard drive works perfectly. Recommend

Great product! I’ve been able to get all my work don’t efficiently with this item.

so far no real problem I did have to format it. But I knew I would. Not quite as fast as I expected, I am using just USB 3.

It is great but wish I'd known ps5 could only handle 8tb.

don't know why they have to say BLACK! If hard drive was white would they say WHITE? Doubt it would probably just say HARD DRIFVE!!! Watch yourself WD real TASTELESS!!!!!!

Works great on my PC however it is not compaitable with Xbox Game Pass PC games since they are a different file type.

This drive is a bit faster than the WD easystore but otherwise works exactly the same way. The read speed is noticeably faster, (although not by much when doing bulk transfers,) while the write speed is slightly faster. For the discounted price, it's a good drive.

Its good for what it is, this 8tb ssd is good for storing ps4 games and ps5 games

I really needed the space so I got this one because it has a decent read/write speed. I noticed that having it in the stand. The arm started to struggle and is now making noise so I laid on the side now like normal people do with the disc drive. I haven't lost my data and the software it came with says that it is okay. I went with a disk drive for the long-term storage. But I'm kind of regretting it.

This thing is a pretty good at loading xbox 360 games and standard xbox one games a little faster than a 5400 rpm HHD. Would recommend for sure.

It is ok but I was expecting a bit better than Toshiba and the other brands.

Great at store games from steam and is quick at loading them.

I bought this as my backup drive for my PC and media server. Runs fast, quiet, and my backup time has been cut in half and flawless. A great value for a high end drive.

This works really well with my PS5 and really durable

It does what it's supposed to do, but it does it with way too much noise. During gaming it "thumps" often and loudly. When gaming is shut down, it goes into a 59 second cycle that never ends. It begins with a faint "whirring startup" sound that becomes a "ratcheting" noise that ends with a "click." It then ends with a faint "whirring shutdown" sound and goes quiet. This takes about 14 seconds from start to finish. At the end of 59 seconds, the cycle begins again. I can hear it from every room in the house, and it doesn't please me. The only relief from the noise it to unplug it when you're done gaming.
