    does everything its supposed to. Made my ps4 load times faster and smoother. Runs alittle loud when the fans on but its just the fan. Great product

    I purchase allot of PC hardware. This device had excellent reviews, but when paired with a PS5 it has only average to good compatibility. To be fair I want to give this a good review but my entire purpose was to use it with PS5 as other reviewers said would be a good choice. It is only a fair choice. Often upon starting the PS5 it says that this device is not recognized and it needs to do a repair process? While I never loose data on the drive I dont know how to tell if this is the PS5 or this device. You will have to be the judge yourself

    Using this hard drive to backup my files. It gets around 250 MB/s read and write. Not for 4K files though, as SSDs are better for that.

    It's a good external for the PS5 digital however sometimes it does have issues staying connected but I think it might just be because of the USB 3 these things need to be USBC already
