Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the easystore 10TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive's massive storage capacity, ease of setup, and excellent price. Many also appreciate its convenient USB 3.0 interface and quiet operation. The compact size is another frequently praised aspect. While some users wish for built-in encryption, the positive feedback on other features outweighs this concern.

Love the price at which large amounts of storage can be obtained now. Performance seems pretty good for an HDD and the form factor is solid. I'm sure a lot of people are probably tearing the enclosure off but I like it as a full size external.

Bought several, they all worked great. The drives inside were 10tb wd100emaz. So yes, helium filled drives (better for heat). Over the past year, I've used several of them, this case design is also very easy to shuck without damaging the enclosure.

WD does it again with a solid external drive giving you quick access to your files. The 10TB external is the perfect addition to any system. It will work fantastically as a backup... but at these speeds with 10TB I use mine as the primary storage drive for all my files.

I had three 3TB drives I wanted to consolidate so this fits the bill. I have used about 9.5 TB and no errors have shown. My old 3TBs were also WD drives and never had a problem with any of them. Got it on sale for $149, which makes it a real bargain.

I use this to backup my 8TB Synology/Plex server. Great amount of space for the price when it was on sale. Seems decently fast, though did not test it on my full blown PC, just direct attached to NAS.

Big capacity, easy install. Can manage all my data for next couple of years. WD is pretty reliable. I did have some surprises about WD disks, but I was able to save the data before crash because of signs displayed. Good performance/price value.

These drives are shuckable and the enclosures do not use encryption. They are a data hoarder's dream. Catch them on sale and they are SO worth the cost.

I bought the first one several months ago and was completely satisfied, so I decided to have double back up instead of pay for a cloud. These are easy to set up, work great and for the price, exactly what I needed.

we store a lot of photos and videos and needed an affordable and reliable drive. We have had a few smaller capacity versions of these as well for years and are very happy. no issues. No lost files. Good speed.

I've used this backup for4 weeks now and not had any problems. It's large enough to back up my two machines and it easily hold their data. It's quiet and realitivey fast (faster than the old one anyway).

Bought this to backup files in case my other ones goes bad. Boots up with and a few clicks my files were saved. Definitely recommend as the size makes it portable as well. Just remember it needs a power source to work

I bought this for additional storage space for my Xbox One X. Most games take up a lot of space and 10TB should last awhile. Also, it's really easy use. I literally just plugged it, clicked format and it was ready to go.

This is the third one of these that I have purchased in the last year or so. The first two have worked flawlessly, so I expect this one will work the same. Easy setup, tons of storage, and a hard to pass up price.

Great drive used for shucking for use in NAS. Picked up two of these on SALE and put them in my NAS, they have been working great. They are BTW, the same drive as the WD Red HDD's.

Not much to say about this one. Plugged it into a Windows desktop converted to small home server and backed up close to 9tb of data. Did it all in one day without making a peep. Real good for doing backups.

NOTE:. I have NOT used this as an external drive! I shuck external drives to use as internal drives for my computers. I have had no issues with any WD drives when doing this. These drives are not the fastest, so you probably don't want to use them as a boot drive on a "performance" setup. However, as a storage drive, they are excellent. These drives are an excellent value when you catch them on sale. 10TB for $160 is a great deal for mass storage. I do the same with the 12TB drives on sale for $180. As a bonus, the leftover hardware can be used to dock other SATA drives. Before shucking, be aware that your warranty will be void.

The product was in stock and we picked it up with curbside service to start the data recover on the other external drive that had a file system corruption. Lesson learned is not to format large external drives with ExFAT to work with both Mac and Windows. ExFAT lacks redundancy features to survive bad disconnects and other mishaps. We opted to format as NTFS and purchase the Paragon NTFS driver for the Mac at $20. Yes there are some free alternatives now, but even $20 is cheap to support a vendor that has been doing this for years. It took 30+ hours scanning the other external drive to recover the 5TB of data. Now with two external drives, the files can be backed up.

There's not much exciting about hard drives, but this one seems to be reliable. It has a huge capacity, which I need as a photograher, and is relatively fast. It was a great deal, as I got it on sale and paid about what I paid for my 4 TB drive a couple of years ago. Peace of mind about my documents being backed up is priceless.

Using it with my One X and it was plug in and go, it asked to format it to use with games and less than a minute later I was transferring all my games to it. Using the 4tb model for my pc.
