This external drive delivers! I’m an independent filmmaker, so this drive is perfect for storing all of my files; which are a lot! I will definitely be buying more of these products in the future! Best Buy delivers yet again!

I put this little guy to work right away creating some permanent storage for years worth of online files. It hasn't hiccupped at all. I love the size / cost ratio and have had great value from all the WD externals I have purchased over the years.

The prices on these drives have been dropping and I couldn't pass up a great deal on this size drive. I've always been happy with WD for storage of my movies etc... Highly recommend this drive

I bought two of these drives about a year ago, removed them from the enclosure, and put them inside by NAS for use with ZFS. So far, no problems at all. I just bought a third one to use as a backup drive. Shucking them is a little annoying but worth it for the price.

So far so good. It has a WD140EDGZ-11B2DA2 helium drive inside. A little noisier than some of my other external hard drives, but (for me) it just fades into background noise. Out of box, read and write are about 215 MB/s. At 1/3 full, they are 198 MB/s. Attached is CrystalDiskMark screenshot. 2-year warranty is good (better than 1-year on the Seagate externals I looked at); wish it had the 3-year of the WD My Books.

It works great for my use case. I have it plugged into a computer that is always running and have it set up as an SMB share that I can drop my files to from any other device while I'm on the network.

I am quite satisfied with WD-easystore 14TB USB 3.0 hard Drive. It's a little noise while using with a reasonable copy speed which satisfied me too, sometimes the copy speed reach 200MB/s. I eject the hard drive when not use but keep the power plugged in, this way keeps the hard drive very quite with no noise at all. It's keeping cool so I believe it can last long.

I love it because I can use it to back up all of my iPhones and my MacBook, as well as my iPad. I no longer need to spend my money on using the iCloud. Are use it with an app called Imazing. It works wonderful. I subdivide it into 7-2 TB.drive’s on my computer.

My computer has 5 drives, and this storage option dwarfs them all combined. I really like the auto backup software it comes with. I use this for all of my media and backup needs. I love it.

Amazing drive! I use it on my Linux machine in a RAID array and it works well. For the past couple of months, no complaints! It's a great little hard drive for storing basically any media.

I’ve only just purchase this drive, but I got sustained 200MB/s write speeds for 8 consecutive hours when backing up my NAS. We’ll see how it holds up overtime, but it has not disappointed thus far. Excellent price and performance for the capacity received.

I do a lot of photos and video editing. Canon T6i, phone pics, drone and gopro stuff. A lot of junk to save. I try and delete the junk that is pure junk most that isn't a lot as I never know exactly what might come in handy down the road a spell. I recently rebuilt my desktop computer and the NVMe drives only go up to 2TB, some 4 and you can actually get 8 but you are talking 1200 buck minimum. ain't nobody got time for that. So I saw that this external drive was actually on sale at BB for right about 200 bucks. Got it to store all that extemperanious stuff on and as a back up for all the good stuff too. It is relatively quite, and pretty fast too so fits the bill. Got it plugged into the back USB port on my new computer and have it sitting on the back of my desk out of the way, but it's hooked up and ready to go whenever I need it.

Drive connected fine to my PC and comes pre-formatted NTFS. I still ran a clean on it in diskpart and then formatted myself. It is 7200RPM. Speeds seem really good, crystal disk is showing 200MB/s on large files. Transfer speeds vary for me between 60MB/s to 101MB/s from another 7200rpm HDD connected over SATA. Wish it had a power cord instead of the little adapter it comes with, just easier to plugin and wouldn't need a socket on the end. The software it comes with wouldn't install, stopped at 18%. idk if it's any good or what it does. On sale I think this was a great deal.

This is my second 14 TB EasyStore. I needed another external storage unit for archiving of my massive media collection. Its speed, near silent operation and slim footprint. Given its stellar performance and price, it was a no-brainer in my purchasing decision in purchasing an additional EasyStore.

This external drive has a lot of capacity for its price. Data transfer is a bit slower, but you get a lot of storage for a fair price. I will be buying again for back up storage.

I got lucky because I was able to get this for less than $190 during the black Friday sales, I mainly use it for my playstation gameplay videos when I transfer them to my computer, my pc is a 15+ year ago computer with 1TB so this comes in handy, I'll be looking for a new pc setup next

Easy to set up and easy to use. Highly recommend as a backup storage or a main storage unit. Fast transfer speeds.

Wanted to partition a drive for time machine and storage. Great price for the capacity. Only time will tell. Had great results from other WD products.
