I am a photographer. My camera files are very large. I purchased this drive to store copies of my pics. It has performed well over the past year. I am considering purchasing a couple more to back up my files should the unthinkable happen.

My phones and laptops were running out of memory and I needed something for storage. This was a little more than what I was looking for but it works perfect. It’s not really compact as its lower Storage counterparts, but definitely not as bulky as I expected. Just have to wait and see how long it lasts. As of now, no complaints.

Ive been using WD products for a long time eith zero issue. They make affordable, robust hard drives and this one is no different. Works as an excellent backup drive for my short films and photography work.

As others have noted, the formatted size of this drive is only 12.7TB. With that being said, I purchased the drive on sale and used my rewards points to get a pretty good deal on this drive. I like the size of the unit and that the power supply is pretty compact compared to other external drives that I've had in the past. While I've only had it a short time it seems to be a good drive. In one review I noticed that they said it was a noisy drive, mine is super quiet so I'm not sure what they were experiencing.

Have had this drive for over a year now, and it has knocked it out of the park. I have been unable to scratch the storage amount, and speeds are good.

Very easy auto use plug and play lots of storage very affordable

I attached this drive to a Synology storage system's USB port. I used the Synology's operating system to connect the drive and it works perfectly as a USB added storage drive.

I like the room, the price, and hopefully the reliability.

WD - easystore 14TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive - Black was a must buy due to the cost per terabyte. When the price recently dropped (thanks Best Buy) my son called me and gave me the good news. He bought one and suggested that I do, too. I immediately ordered the drive and Best Buy delivered it very quickly. When it arrived, installation was easy; I downloaded the WD tools and ran the tests. They are shown in the photos below.

Very reliable and much better than the other brands. Good speeds upwards usually of 150KB through the UDB3.0 connection. Bought it on the black friday event sale at a suburb price that best buy had. You wont be disappointed I. This purchase any of the easystore western digital products will serve you well. Did not remove for shucking purposes.

The drive was recignized right away and is more than fast enough. It's reassuring and convenient to have all that storage. It does emit a little noise...an occasional clicking, but it's not bothersome to me at all.

Great value for such a large hard drive. I like many other purchasers have used my Easystore 14tb to increase the amount of storage on my home NAS. It's been running for over a year with no issues. Easystore is the way to go if you are looking for affordable large capacity hard drives.

I've been using this 14TB HDD for 1 year so I can give some comments on the product. So far I had no technical errors or recognition issues around various situations like backing up large amount of data from laptops and desktop PCs. Of course no idea on if I can use this one as cloud storage because I never tried but I can recommend this one as a back up storage for sure when the price falls into reasonable range.

What can I say? This is the 10th WD external I have purchased for my photo storage at my photo studio - beginning with a measley 4tb and progressively larger storage until reaching this awesome 14TB! They all pretty much work the same - never had a single problem with any of them. Got it on sale there - can't beat the price!

I have owned this device for about a month now and this external hard drive is easy to hookup and operate. I am satisfied with this item because it stores all my music file and backs up all of my production software DAW'S effortlessly. I recommend this product for musician that are into producing their own music through DAWS "Music studio software" it is important to have a 14T drive to store your music files because music files takes up an awful lot of space alone and especially if you are doing both video and music productions like myself. I give this product a 10 or better rating. superb drive. I have the Bestbuy service support team to thank for this product.
