Good price for a lot of storage. Was really pleased with how quickly the 8+ TB of data I had on scattered drives copied over to this drive. Happy to now be able to back up regularly to a single drive.

Easy and simple to use. Big space compare to price.

Been getting and shucking EasyStores for a while now, love them for my Synology NAS. Especially when they are on sale and much cheaper than buying drives directly.

I do a lot of wildlife photography and needed an external hard drive to back up my files. The WD Easystore 18TB answered that need. Once my files are backed-up, the WD Easystore goes into a fireproof safe. I plan on purchasing a second one soon!

Excellent Hard Drive i needed for my system backups

I've used this 18TB unit with a Tablo Quad OTA VCR to record over the air television shows for later viewing on my laptop or TV. It has worked nicely. (in use about 6 months). I've used mostly 14TB and 8 TB Easystore units like this one for local backups for years without a problem (except for one that fell off a shelf -- so don't let that happen...).

Loads of storage. I haven't even used it all. Excellent price and worth the money

Only 16tb available. Plenty of room. Need 3.3v bypass if used internal.

Cheap external storage at a great price. Cant go wrong with Western Digital.

What can you say about a product that does one thing as advertised other than that it works reliably? Massive storage capacity, reliable connection over USB, and no beats skipped despite backup of nearly 10tb nightly. Well worth the price, especially when on sale.

Nice 18TB Hd. A little slow and loud, but O expect that from a. single drive. Overall, great price when I got it, $250!

Great storage capacity (18TB) and easy to use. Who could ask for more. Using for backup and photo/music collections. Case is small and fits nicely by desktop

Solid that it’s 18yb and speed is pretty good. Makes a lot of noise though. Best to tuck inside a cabinet.

So far so good, however, it was too big for my Xbox one X, I didn’t know before I purchased it that the Xbox one’s only support up to 16tb external drives, so I’m using this one on my computer and purchased a second 16tb one for my Xbox.

Have had multiple WD drives. Always easy to set up and use. Excellent storage option.

Lots of space for backing up files. Surprisingly quiet for this drive. Only problem I have is after transfering files for about 3 hours temps reached 55 degrees. I recommend using external fans to keep it cool.

I think the Hard Drive ends up being 16 TB, but it is what it is. I ordered this online, and Best Buy sent me a handheld gaming console worth about three times the amount of the hard drive, but I'm an honest person, and I tried to return it on the phone, and they wanted me to ship it, and I don't have time for all that. I asked if I could just take it to the store, and they said I couldn't exchange it at a store cause I bought it online. I decided to go to the store anyway, and they gave me the money back but said they didn't have any replacement items, so I went to the hard drive section to find a different hard drive and ended up finding the ones that they said they didn't have. I bought them, and the next day, two more hard drives appeared at my door, so I had to take those hard drives in. I could have really taken Best Buy for a ton of money. Not sure what is going on there, but they are lucky I'm an honest person

Finally, there is an external drive that can serve as a secondary backup to my server. Fast and easy to use.
