Got one for my xbox one to increase it's storage, works like a charm, it's fast enough for online games to play without any lag. It's so small it's easy to keep out of the way. Plus it saves on cords, it only has the one usb cable to plug in. It comes with some .exe's on it already to install something, I ignored those and reformatted it

I have two Toshiba digital drives that I carry. This is the same capacity and is even smaller. Because of my work I have more than one attaché'. With this capacity and this price I don't have to move my material from case to case. One drive for each project. Grab and go, the drive is always in the case I am using and has the project for the case it is in. Plenty of capacity and good reliability.

Small, easy to use, and fast. My only issue is the device becomes hot immediately during use. Not sure if that’s meant to happen or if the item is defective.

These things are getting smaller and smaller. I use them for work, and purchase new ones each month. These external HD units are easy to carry anywhere and significantly increase the overall capacity of laptops and tablets.

This portable hard drive is so much better than my older one, for one it is smaller. This unit is solid state and has twice the storage space. I also like that it more durable due to the unit being solid state and it also costs less than my first one that I had bought from Best Buy.

Man is this baby small and light. It was smaller and lighter than I thought from looking at the photo / reading the description. My Mac automatically detected it. Super fast, and a perfect combination with my 2015 MacBook Pro which I use as a photo editing machine. Nice place to safely store my thousands of photos / music / docs. BestBuy N Canton is the best!

Incredibly small external hard was easily attached to my laptop cover via Velcro. It operates reliably and transfers data quickly despite its minuscule size. I would buy another if the need arises.

Can't complain one bit about this SSD. It is small and compact and is pretty fast for an external SSD. The price is what gets me though! I can't believe how cheap I got this for what it is. It works great for bulk storage or to transfer files.

I used this had disk for last 6 months. This very light weight and more compact. The data transfer is faster other my earlier external hard disk. This very much worth.

I added this tiny external SSD to a 2013 iMac USB 3.0 port to act as the main boot drive (the original drive was a spinner hard disk). I did not want to rip the iMac apart to install an internal blade SSD if I did not have to do so. The boot and response time is noticeably very much faster, and that was the result I was looking for. I don't know what the actual transfer speed is, but any modern SSD will run (and probably exceed) the USB 3.0 bus speed ceiling, and I'm sure this one does too. There is no point going to a high end super fast NvMe drive (for example) when any extra speed would be bus limited. What makes this particular item appealing is the very small size and the Western Digital brand name. WD makes quality drives. I am able to rubber band this to the back of the iMac stand to make it invisible from the front, so you don't even see it. It could also be taped to the back of the iMac shell to also remain out of view. There is enough cord to allow full movement of the screen angle adjustment without binding. So, as this small SSD met all of my requirements, and greatly speed up an aging computer, I can recommend this product without hesitation. It would also be great for a traveling back-up for a laptop too. Another advantage is if it should fail, you can just swap in a new drive (assuming you are maintaining a data back-up) without having to open the sealed iMac case (again).

SSD makes the drive smaller, lighter than the other disk portable drives I bought. A noticeable difference with faster speed for the external drive when using a virtual machine (Oracle VirtualBox).

SSD drives are the way to go. This drive I bought is fast, half the size of 1 TB compact portable HHD and 1/4 the weight of the 1 TB compact HHD. LOVE IT! I only wish they were less expensive.

This is a great ssd option if you're not looking for a top of the line wd-black model. It's really small, especially for storing 1tb, and super reliable. I would recommend it to anyone on the go.

Very small in size, about half the width of a credit card and only a little bit thicker than one. I bought this for my PS5, this transfer games MUCH faster than my HDD. You can save PS4 games on this hard drive and play on your PS5 while it is still saved to the hard drive but you cannot play PS5 games while saved on this hard drive, you must transfer. Super easy to use, plug in and use, must format to PS5 if you are going to use it for that.
