This hard drive has more space than other ones. I love how easy it is too use and how fast it works.

I have been buying external hard drives for years. They are the best backup for my needs. I started out with WD because I bought one on sale and have been very satisfied with the drive. Of course, thru the years they have become bigger and better. The price has been acceptable and the performance is great. The most important is I trust the product. This is a backup up of photography for many, many years. I highly recommend WD.

These plug-and-play external drives are indispensable for people who like to keep multiple good backups.

This external hard drive is easy to use, and with my PC it didn't even need to be formatted. Just follow the on screen prompts to download your files. I am not computer savvy but had no problems figuring it out.

Love it! Just plug and play. It couldn't be easier. I was worried that there would be a lot of formatting, etc, because I was backing up a Mac. No so! Just a few clicks and I was in business. I do recommend using two external storage devices or one device and a cloud service as almost every review I read stated that at some point, most people loose as least some of the information on this type of drive. I had an issue with my old MacBook. A data recovery service was gong to charge $750 to extract my information. When I was finally able to get the computer to boot up, I immediately backed the entire hard drive up to this external drive... GREAT SAVINGS.... Got all my info and pictures back for under $100. Highly recommended!!

Meets my needs. Plugs into usb port with no problem. I own 3 such hard drives. One for each computer. I recomend this for any one that owns a computer. Saved me when the main hard drive failed in my desk top.

I have a number of these, small, easy to use, carry, store (safe deposit box, for example). A must have way to protect data.

This item is great for storing all personal information so that in case something happens, my family can access it. Highly recommend.

Have not used much, since recently purchased. Purchased on sale. Box did not come with owners manual quick guide, but connection and use is straightforward.

Works fine. Geek Squad tech backed up files and photos from wife's iPad and camera.

Pretty much just plug in and go. What's not to like? Works great with my Tablo for recording movies.
