Very good portable hard drive. It is quiet, easy to use, and has plenty of storage. Also, files transfer quickly

easy to set up and easy to access. Small and inconspicuous, while giving all the space you willneed.

My old external hard drive was broken and I was preparing to buy a new MacBook and wanted to back up the old laptop. Everything worked smoothly with the download and the upload to the new laptop. The price was reasonable as well.

This portable hard drive works great for what i need it for and at a very good price. Easy to set up and stsrt using. Sales people were also very helpful.

Great external hard drive. I was able to use straight after unboxing. Small, compact, full of space and easy to use.

Easy-peasy plug and play external HD. Only needed 1 TB of storage since all else is accounted for. I remember my first external HD was all of 10 MB and cost 4x what this little guy costs. That was a year or so after the IBM XT came out. What amazing tech advances ...and they never seem to stop.

I like that I can store more things on the external drive and I like that it's small and it works really good.

I needed an external backup device for making a copy of the hard drive, of an old laptop pc that was no longer working properly. The Geek Squad suggested this WD - easystore device, and they were able to make the backup for me, from my old laptop. Back home, I plugged the WD - easystore backup device into my new Windows 10 laptop, and within seconds it was up and running, and I had access to the files from my old laptop. It seems very easy to use, and runs quite fast. Windows 10 handled it automatically. I'm giving it 4 stars, rather than 5, because I haven't used it very much, and I haven't used similar external storage devices, so I cannot compare it's performance with other devices. But I'm pleased with how it works, so far.

This is a great external hard drive. I plugged the EasyStore into my laptop and immediately the hard drive is recognized and ready to back up the data. I backed up an entire machine about 500 GB, and the process was easy, smooth and completed relatively quickly. Western Digital, in my opinion has always been a leader in external drives and I would highly recommend this brand and this model. There are storage devices with higher capacity, but this was all I needed and the price was great.

Two of our old drives were reduced to secure files on this small hard drive by a simple transfers. They files are easy to assess on my computer with a simple connector. I really like that it is small and compact.

With the holidays coming around, my nephew needed something to take to college next year. This hard drive will get him started. It's small design makes it not take up much space when laying next to a laptop. For now, the 1TB should hold all his music and any pictures during his first year at college. No need to get into all the technical details, as my experience with WD's have been positive over the past 20+ years in the computer realm. I've used many Western Digital hard drives in custom built pc's - so having this one on sale for half price (from 99 dropped to 49) was a great buy. You could get a much larger hard drive - but until you find you have way more stuff than would fit on a 1TB, try filling up a 1TB :)

Had to repplace my old laptop, due to it becoming outdated. This new unit works great.

This is a good little hard drive and super easy to use. Fast. Highly recommended for the money.

MacBooks don’t have enough storage for a real photo library so we got this. It’s compact and affordable. Performance in Photos app is almost like a built in drive

I got this Western Digital 1TB External drive for storing the documents and pictures that I wil accumulate in the Spectre Nightfall that I also got with this drive. This will be my backup drive for whatever stuff I want to preserve and keep. I have formatted it and have stuff in there already, no problem. You cannot go wrong with this external drive! Go get one too!

Works great for the price, easy to use and store. Comes with all accessories to use and plug in to pc, laptop or tv.

perfect fit hard dive for adding extra storage to my ps4 especially with the size of the additional maps for games like Call of Duty. Easy to connect and format and small enough to have attached to console.

Wife does photography and we needed to get her something to store all her pictures. For the price point, size, and speed of this drive its a winner. I have WD and a few others but they are nowhere near as compact as this one. She brings it with us to Death Valley and Mammoth to safely store her pictures. May be getting a couple more.
