Great for PS4

I plugged it in, formatted it through the PS4 menu, and was installing games in minutes. It goes to standby mode when the PS4 is off, and the drive itself is pretty quiet (compared to the PS4 fans especially). Great drive for the price.

Right using on my PS4 first gen (500gb) really needed the extra memory. Works great. Can’t see why other people had trouble with it espufor this gaming reason. Very easy , reminds me of The set it and forget it commercial.!!! Love the product
