Affordable standard backup drive.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Over the last couple of years I've owned four of these hard drives and one of them suddenly stopped working but since I was using it for xbox games I just had to plug in another one and download the games again. I would not trust it for important documents or pictures but as expanded storage for Xbox or Mac's Time Machine is OK. Also, it's a standard mechanical disk not SSD so be careful when handling it if it's connected. Even with the optional protection plan is very affordable when they are on sale.

After a fraud crash, it was recommended in store by GEEK SQUAD/ Best Buys to purchase this external hard drive which I did so that G SQ could transfer recovered files which IT DID Problem is that it did not go far enough b/c to open the files' contents you need a "windows 365 " program. Going tonight for the install of the "Windows 365" I hope it works and I will be back in business.......I HOPE !
