I needed an external drive to back up video files, and the WD has done the trick. It offers a ton of storage for a great price, especially when it is on sale. If the price is right, don't hesitate to buy it.

I'm a little older, so I feel more comfortable with an actual hard-drive backup than relying on the cloud. This little drive is perfect for my peace of mind. It's very easy to install and use and I feel confident that my data is safe.

We bought two of these drives as external memory for our Xboxs...one for each. The set up was easy and quick...basically plug and play, with the Xbox Set Up Wizard. Being USB 3.0, the drives work fast and made copying and moving file easy.

I'm not a particularly tech-savvy person, and I'm finding this external hard drive so easy to use. It hold so much data, I was able to store important files from 3 old laptops! Checking the files it holds is easy, and I'm so glad I bought this.

I was so pleased Geek Squad could put all of my data onto this one drive which I can take anywhere with a USB port . Isn't that amazing ? It was to me . And it works just as fast as my PC.

Easy set up. Transfer from old computer was easy and quick. Compact size

I bought the Easystore to back up my computer and for additional storage should I need it. After cording the unit, I was able to immediately do a back up without any set-up. It is the same size as the WD Passport so is very portable.

Easy to use, accepted the photos I transferred and provided assurance they were on-line and usable. I needed to transfer several hundred photos from my computer to another person and this device was perfect for the project.

More than enough storage with this external hard drive. I, by no means, need this amount of storage but for the price, couldn't pass it up! Definitely worth it!

Anything western digital makes is great always reliable and functional easy to use

I'm not a big fan of cloud backups--although I use them. I still always prefer to have local, physical backups. This device is easy to use and reliably fast.

This External USB Hard Drive is excellent in storing documents, photos or even videos. It is expected to begin with the configuration of the actual Drive in order to save documents to either a Mac or Windows or both. Once your drive has been configured you're set to go on having all storage saved and secured. I do want to mention on not shaking the drive, which the instructions do mention as well, can cause damage, but overall I have loved this, since I bought two of them.

Excellent device for backing up your computer! In case your computer crashes, you still have all your files!

External hard drive’s are the best very good for storing and making space on your PC laptops and home computers works very well out of all the hard drives I have owned these are the best. Highly recommend it to my friends and family
