Easy to use and portable, fits into small pockets.

Does exactly what I needed it to do: store files. With it being USB 3.0 file transfers are relatively fast and I don't ever see myself running out of room on this.

This is a pretty good drive. I was looking for something that was compact and portable and that would allow me to share files between Mac and PC. This drive covered all of those bases.

I'm happy with this HD, it is small and light, I used it to transfer my games form the Xbox One to the Xbox One X, so definitely it works like a charm. I totally recommend it.

Storing significant data and memories with this hard drive is the way to go. Simple plug in and also good setup to keep digital memories preserved.

the speed to transfer files was fast and easy. I had over 20 gigs of pictures and videos and they transferred faster than I thought. Its a good product for a good price.

I backed up my computer and still have plenty of room on it. I have a MacBook Air and it was quite simple to plug in and back up my computer.

This WD drive works smoothly and is so easy to set up. Just plug in and it is ready. I started transferring files immediately. I only using this as a photo and document back up, not to create a system back up. Worth the money.

I purchased this as an additional storage unit for my Xbox 1 when it ran out of space, and it worked without any issues. Plenty of extra space and super easy to set up. I would recommend this if you are in a similar position.

I originally purchased this to use with my Macbook Pro. I loved it so much that when my Mom got a new Macbook Pro for her birthday I got this for her too. We both love it! It is so small, much different than the external drives I am used to from the past. I still have an old one connected to an older computer that is at least 3 times the size of this one and it needs to be plugged into an outlet. This one doesn't need to be plugged into an outlet. It transfers files very fast. It is formatted to work with a Windows computer out of the box. However setting it up to work with a Mac is very easy using the following steps: ● Plug My Passport into your Mac with the provided USB cable ● Open Disk Utility ● Select this hard drive on the left side list of drives ● In the center area click on Erase ● Select Mac OS Extended (Journaled) ● Type what you want to name the drive ● Click Erase. I recommend this drive if you've got a Macbook or a Windows computer and are looking for an external drive that's easy to take along with you, although it's just as good if sitting on a desk. Either way, I love this external drive!!

Works as a back up HD should. Easy to set up and small enough to carry with you. I haven't had it long so can't comment in its longevity.

Very good product overall for the price. Instructions are pretty much garbage and I can see how it’d be a little difficult for someone with 0 computer knowledge to first set up but works perfectly for a great price.

We bought this hard drive to store all of the data from a dead laptop and it did the job beautifully. Easy to use and small enough to live in a desk drawer.

Cheaper than purchasing the amount of storage for a dang laptop...and that's counting the Holidays too. I'm glad I have found a deal with this one, but they left me dry for my laptop that I had met with several Employees, and including a manager or two, also within a two week span...only to learn they can not give me the computer that I was inside the store...and it amazingly sells out and cannot be found in any distribution warehouse center either? Raincheck would have been a beautiful gesture if I was offering to pay in full for the laptop right there and then...oh well... Happy Holidays everyone and stay safe
