It is more than enough storage for my need and very easy to use I backed up my laptop so if it crashes I can just replace all my files

Bought one to back up a new PC. Liked it so well I bought two more for our other PC and a laptop. Very fast. Great price. Plug in and go!

This worked great for what we needed, which was to backup files on our laptop. It is small and light so easy to travel with.

I was surprised at it's small size but with 1TB capacity, it's more than enough storage space. Had to replace my old desktop computer and my ancient exterior hard drive just couldn't hold today's system and files. Installs in a flash and is so easy to set up. And, it's a super space saver. Great for keeping with your laptop so you don't have to worry about possibly losing files and photos when your're away from home.

This drive is really good for the price, but the fact that it tried to get me to use software to even use the drive is ridiculous. If you get this, I recommend formatting the drive as soon as possible to remove the restrictions.

Years ago, I purchased 2 external hard drives, two different brands, to save pictures on (duplicate backups). I wanted two in the event one failed. Fast forward to now, the original one I bought of this brand is still working but the other brand failed. Still wanting to have duplicated backups, I purchased another EHD of this brand. Hopefully this second one lasts a long time like the first one.

easy to connect. fast access even though it isn't solid state. small and handy.

This is great in a lot of ways. It's small, compact and very convenient to use. Plug it into ur laptop or computer and load it with whatever you like. Movies, pictures, music, files!

Glad I finally purchased this hard drive. I've been looking to get this for my PS4 since that 500GB wasn’t cutting it anymore. I had to go through deleting games I played from time to time just to play new ones. Now, I can make the choice of letting it stay there for a while since I have the space. Set up was SUPER EASY on PS4 as it already has the settings to format it. Not only that, it was quick in the formatting process. It's such a relief to know that I have so much extra space now.

Bought one for my satellite receivers DVR. I haven’t had a bit of trouble with it since I got it. It turned out to be one of those things I never have to think about. To be fair, all I’m doing is using it to record shows. I don’t know how much of a stress that puts on it but for use like that, it works really well.

I've always loved western digital products. They are reliable and sturdy. Easy to use and definitely user friendly.

Purchased this for my nephew so can only give partial 2nd hand experience. When we connected it, it auto detected and we set it up as storage for games. No issues installing to it and playing from it, not heard anything bad from nephew so far, but its only been a day or two to be honest. Got it while it was on sale with the early black friday deals on website so I was lucky with the timing :) Do recommend for anyone need xbox one storage space. I got the 1TB drive, but I assume the larger versions work as well.

Western Digital has always been very reliable for me. 1TB for under $50.00, you can't go wrong with this. USB 3.0 for fast transfer.

I buy these all the time probably about 100 of them by now really fast in her face easy to use would definitely recommend to a friend
