Faster than expected

Not sure what the rotational speed is, but I used a large 3.5” external drive with 7200rpm speed and this one was the same if not faster at transferring files. Very silent as well. Have used this to transfer large file sizes very well.

We had purchased a used DVR that needed an external hard drive. It was easy for him to install and has been working well.

Good update for old HDD

WD Easystore 1TB External Hard Drive

I didn't lose any of my Turbo Tax data or work data. Plus, I have a ton of room to back up my laptop on.
