Great storage hard drive for pictures and more. Easy to setup and use. And plenty of space.

I have used WD Drives for many years. They work as they should and I will continue to bay and use them. I was able to save some money as this drive was on sale. I would have purchased more than one however, one was all there was.

Its still going strong, I have only once had a problem with a best buy harddrive and believe me when I say I have yearly bought a lot of them and it was so long ago and the rest have been excellent and I believe are still running.

Lots of storage and got a very decent price for it. Hope it will be quick and last forever.

This HD met my needs. I wouldn't say "totally" mac ready, but after a little set up, it is a great drive to archive my video edit projects. I know it's a spinny drive but do wish it were faster, but for the price, the TB size... you can't go wrong!

Great capacity and form factor. Its amazing to have this much storage in this size. Note that this is not portable as it needs to be plugged in to a wall socket for power and only then can you connect it to your computer.

Though I was hesitent to make the investment, it was well worth it. All of my data is finally in one location and can be quickly and painlessly accessed. Setup was effortless, and I am considering getting a second drive for backup. Worth the investment.

Got this drive when it went on sale in December. This version is "best buy exclusive", but there are other drives with compartable capacity, of course. I guess this means no way of 'price matching'. Using this drive just for mainly cold storage, and to watch h.265 h.264 movies from. Have not tried to chuck, etc.

What can I say, 20 TB drive. Picked up on BlackFriday for almost half price made this one a steal! The only complaint I have is the speed. It is hard to get used to SSD speed and then go back to using something this slow, but for the amount of storage it would be super expensive to match with SSD's and I need the space more!

I reformatted it for my Mac and it works great! I have bought 4 of these and they all work. I actually bought 5, but one package had a 14TB drive inside instead of the 20. That was a bummer. By the time I used it, it was too late to return.

I've found this drive has the room that I need to perform multiple backups, and copy from SSDs that would die within a couple of years of non-usage due to the fact that they can't hold a charge for more than 1-2 years and you can possibly lose all your data. This being a hard drive can pretty much hold your data forever offline without worrying about needing to reconnect every year or two to "keep a charge" like SSDs do. ......SSDs are great if you use them daily, but are horrible for extended storage. Hard drives like this one is perfect for extended storage 10+ years! If you have SSDs and was planning to use them as extended storage, I encourage you to get a hard drive to copy them to for extended storage you can trust! The longer an SSD is disconnected from a power source, the more likely they can lose all their data!

Bought this unit to backup my EX4100 NAS. It works perfectly. Enough storage to backup all my media and data and keep it offline just in case. It plugs into the USB port on my NAS and transfers at over 140MBPS. Money well spent.

Easy to use and high storage amount. Great value! And the USB 3.0 allows for extremely quick transfers of data.
