I've been running 4 of these drives (2x12TB, 2x14TB) for years now and now running this for almost 2 months, regularly playing big files from a different computer on the network and I've had zero issues. Highly recommended drives!

Great form factor size and looks great on your desk. Plenty of storage space for music and video file backups. Great value per TB if you can catch it on sale.

I've had quite a few of these easystores in recent years. Best Buy puts them at a good price and they tend to last quite a while. Knock on wood. I haven't found a better per terabyte price anywhere else.

This is my second of these hard drives. The first is still going strong but it's of a lower TB size. I saw this one on sale and decided to get it. I can always use more storage. Working good and no issues.

    Nice Drive But...

This is an odd situation. I got a great deal on this 20 GB drive so I am beyond happy about the price. Here is where my happiness turns to bewilderment. This drive inexplicably drops from my Macbook Pro. It just disappears and I have to unplug/plug the power to make my Macbook Pro see it again. I don't know if this was in the planbook from the designers of this EasyStore 20GB or if this is just a drawback of owning this drive. You may say that this is not a problem but for me it is. It drives me nuts when I have to unplug/plug a device that should be seen by my Macbook Pro. BTW I did format the drive in APFS format so could that be the reason it is dropping? I dunno but I still like the drive for the capacity but can't give it a perfect 5 stars because of the "dropping" off problem. I still love WD products.

I've been getting the easy store external drives for many years and have several now. Keep one in my desk at work, an archive one at home, and two that I swap back and forth every few weeks. Every couple of months I swap with the archive one, and rotate them so the current "work" one becomes active. I'm a photographer and have thousands of photos I want no chance get lost. Also have them on a cloud service.

Perfect for storing family pics/vids. We used to store everything on our laptop but now we use this hard drive instead. Clearing space on our lap top also. A bit tricky to use at first since you have to install the program but simple afterwards. Got the 20 tb on sale so it was definitely worth it. Probably wont ever need to buy another one for years to come.

One Copy is not a BACKUP

I have gotten a few of these (different capacities) over the years to archive some of my data. They have always been the best solution for me. I keep multiple copies of my data so if something happens I have a backup. These units are durable, because I have accidently knock 1 of these off the desk. The case protected the drive and didn't result in any damage to the case or internal drive. I have always had great results from WD drives. It's a name I have trusted for years, even back to the days of Windows 95.

Easystore Hard drives are pretty decent. Have had a bunch of them running nonstop for years without any problems. Best to buy them when it's about $15 dollars per TB of space.

Western Digital hard drives do not disappoint! Very solid heavy construction and does not get hot while hooked up. Just plug and play (use), no additional software needed. I do not use the included cloud services, which is optional, but not for my needs. Very happy with this purchase. Thank you Best Buy!

Not bad for a large storage user that’s sometimes not connected to the cloud. It worth every dollar I paid for. Sometimes there tend to be a vibrating noise that reminds me that it is there lol!

The way that the pc reads tb is 1024 gb but marking reads it as 1000gb. So it is the full size but it will shock you if you dont expect it
