I've only had this under a couple years. It's almost full already. I haven't moved it around a lot. I am always nervous the USB cable will cause problems. It is a great tool. Transfer speed is as close to my internal. I need another one of these. I am afraid to go past 2tb now because the more data on it, the harder to initialize. The more data you can loose. Back on topic so far is a great product. I used to horde files and collect then I find that it all needs a backup of a backup. Kinda waiting for a better online solution to store this much data as if it was internal.

This external hard drive is much smaller than the one we previously owned, so it requires little space and should be easier to travel with. The connecting cord is shorter, which means the device must be closer to your computer. It is also recommended (if we understood the directions correctly) that it is plugged in at the front of a CPU, instead of the back. Our previous one was used for our desktop computer and had lights on it to indicate it was operating, This one does not have any indicator lights on it. So far it works well, and we are pleased.

Easy to use. Downloaded entire computer contents. Just takes a while. Be patient. Good for the price. Would buy this again. Good sales team.

Works great. Games run perfectly off this external. Keep more room on your SSD and offload your PS4 content onto this. Even TLOU2 60 fps mode will work with the game installed on this external. Western Digital make reliable HDDs.

I have owned several of the Western Digital Easystore external USB hard drives in several different capacities for years and found them to be extremely dependable for continuous system backup duty. The smaller versions are excellent for use with laptops and add easy portability. Highly recommended!

This external hard drive has done exactly what I needed it to do, hold my home videos of my VHS tapes. I'm able to watch back my precious memories.

This is my first purchase of an external hard drive. So far so good. Was easy to install and best of all it is small enough that it doesn't take up too much space on your work desk. I was worried that I would have this extra "black box" sitting in front of me, not the case. Very pleased

This is a great hard drive with great storage... It also back dates to use USB 2.0 so it’s good on older laptops... Nice small size as well, so it’s very handy and very easy to use....

Not a bad price for $62.00. Other places at the time of purchase was close to $100.00 for an Easystore 2T. A special reminder, Easystore is compatible with almost every unit, including a blue ray Samsung DVD player with USB.

Purchased this hard drive for my xbox one that needed more space for my digital games. Overall easy to setup. Once I connected the hard drive gave me the option to format to be able to use in the xbox clicked yes and it was ready to use from ther. 2TB for the price is great. Runs my games perfectly with no issues. Would recommend this for those trying to expand the memory space on any device.

I needed an easy way to add more storage to a gaming laptop. This was the cheapest, fastest, most efficient way for me to do so! I am somewhat tech savvy but not when it comes to internal components of a computer, so this was super easy to plug in and just use... Anyone could do it!
