Slim and portable

I’ve had a previous easy store hard drive for the last five years or so and it’s still going strong. This one is the same size (2TB) but they’ve made it much slimmer than it was when I bought the older one back in 2015! It’s even more portable now which is great!

They don't require their own power supply and are USB plug and play. Compact enough to take pretty much anywhere.

Great product for PC backup

While I think it is overkill. I use this drive only for OS and computer driver recovery. I like the cloud software, file encryption for software and the fact that it does not slow down my machine when I plug it in.

The formatting set up was one & done. Literally plug in & push a button. I'm very pleased with WD easy store & will be purchasing another in the near future. I highly recommend purchasing one.
