Customers are saying
Customers commend the Easystore 2TB USB 3.0 External Portable Hard Drive for its ample storage, ease of use, reliability, compact size, and reasonable price. Many appreciate its compatibility with devices like the PS4 and its simple setup process. While some users find the lack of additional software and minimal noise appealing, these aspects are mentioned far less frequently than the drive's primary benefits. Overall, the positive attributes of storage, usability, and reliability appear to be the most prominent features in customer feedback.

So Far, So Good. WD Quality is Inconsistent
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far, so Good, I've bought 3 (or 4, I've lost count) of these. They seem to work okay. I do have a beef with WD as a manufacturer: I don't understand why there are vast differences in durability, longevity, reliability, and quality within the WD Brand of drives. (I had a couple of WD Passports, which died within months of my purchasing them. These I do not recommend). My Drives Soap Box: Considering how dependent on Technology, and rising Storage needs, we are (and I don't foresee it returning to smaller storage needs)--and especially if one does not wish to rely on "Cloud Storage," outside our home--it's ultra important to have good quality, reliable, durable, (did I mention reliable? Did I mention durable?) drives, available at reasonable prices. By Reliable I mean several years of durability. My first WD drive purchase (a WD PP III Studio II 320 Gb FW external), is already 11 years old, and still works. It also does have two different modes of connecting with my 2011 and 2012 Macs (Firewire, and Micro USB-to-USB), a feature I wish more drives had. I wish it was still available. As for the 3 EasyStore Drives, they're already nearly 1 year old, and they *appear* reliable. Lets hope they don't disappoint me, for I'm about to invest on yet a 5th (2Tb) one...

Excellent value & does what it's supposed to do.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased as a backup for an aging laptop. This has more storage capacity than I really need at this time, but this allows me to move precious memories to a secure storage device, allowing access if the primary device ever fails. Of course, this requires me to be diligent about backups, but the WD external drive will handle that automatically for me - makes my life easier. And, based on current performance, I know that I'll not lose important files and memories if my current laptop fails before I'm ready to replace it. Again, an excellent value for a produce that performs as intended. I would purchase this again if the need arose.

WD 2TB Drive
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used this portable drive to back up my dad's old Macbook in order to update his OS. I also partitioned the drive so he can easily use it as a USB to drag whatever files he wants. Works great and no issues at the moment.

Reliability at a good price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Western Digital makes the most reliable HDD hands down. That bring said you have less chance of failure with their SSD as there are no moving parts, but high Capacity of Solid State Drives such as a 10 TB are not yet available. So the solution is to use the SSD as your startup drive and redundant HDD as your storage drives. Your selection choices are important - you want a HDD drive that has a good chance of being around for at least 3 years, and need a backup drive and/or cloud storage. WD As a pro photographer, WD remains my top choice for most reliable HDD, and SSD, and I have had bad experiences with other brands. If any HDD drive fails and you are not backed up, recovery is both costly, and time consuming if possible at all - so do all you can to reduce that risk.

A must have backup!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I store photos from my phone on my computer...and computer storage fills up. And sometimes computers crash. This is a great little external hard drive to plug in and backup all those memories! And it’s small...so it doesn’t take up much room to store or carry with you. Great purchase!

Extra memory for my Video games.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was holding off on purchasing an external hard drive for my gaming system because I thought it was too pricey and it will be too complicated to use. However this item was a good bargain at under $60 and super easy to use. Nice.

No brainer purchase to increase storage
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this as external storage for a PS5. Worked without any issues. Plug in, format and it's good to go. All my PS4 games now reside on my external drive freeing up space on the internal SSD. Highly recommend.
