Western Digital makes reliable HDD's, and the price point is great on this one. Purchased to use for backup storage, functions exactly as you would expect.

Excellent portable hard drive for the needs of a gamer, or worker that need to be able to take their games or files with them on the go. This has plenty of space to allow for the transfer of games from a console to be able to allow for storage either on the go or to allow for extra storage for the smaller console units, or for the workers that need the ability for the transfer of files that will allow them to carry their files with them on the go. The 2TB storage is plenty for todays files, even with today's larger games or files for workers. I would suggest this for anyone on the go!

Awesome storage, easy to insert, and use. Exactly what I was looking for to store some documents and puctures off my computer. To free up storage on my laptop.

Caught this one on sale, should have bought every unit on the shelf. Bare WD bones drive, but fully functional. Moderately sturdy build, secure cable connector. Easy no-hassle plug 'n' play in my Windows 10 PC. Triple-digit read and write speeds on larger files. A little pokey on mass transfer of smaller image files I blitzed the unnecessary WD backup software pre-loaded (trust me, if you know what you're doing. you don't need it). Highly recommended.

So far this is working great . To store lots of photos and videos on and was easy to reformat to fit both types of computer systems

Needed to buy this since I was low on storage and had many files. This works very well with a realky good price tag compared to others with similar specs.

I am using this for a back of personal papers, including taxes. I don't like to put things like this out in the cloud.

Very easy to set up and just works great. This was purchased as storage for all of the church video and audio recordings we now seem to be doing. No glitches at all.

I bought this external hard drive to add space for my Xbox 1 S. The xbox picked up the drive immediately and i was able to quickly format and add any games i needed onto the drive. I will update if anything goes wrong.
