Fantastic about of storage and the price is hard to beat

Simply plug and play and runs as expected. Running on windows

I use it to backup and store all of my files and documents. Iwas able to take a lot off my computer. The USB3 is fast enough for working on multiple audio files in most DAWs. I can store most of my sessions on the external while keeping the operating system hard drive free.

Love this drive. Works right out the box and tons of space.

This WD external hard drive Best Buy edition is sold only at their store, and aside from some software changes, it is the same as WD's regular backup external drive and less expensive. I found it easy to setup and it works in the background without much need to monitor. I liked it so much I bought another for my wife's computer.

I wanted a drive to backup my Windows 10 computer. This one is nice and it works with the older Windows 7 style full backup.

I got this while it was on sale. The main reason I bought this is to backup my smaller 1 TB portable drives incase they fail. The speed is pretty good. And this file transfer process went smoothly. I recommend NOT installing WD Discovery because I found out that it was messing with my desktop’s built in card reader.

Great external storage, which helps store more data than service provider was able to accomodate. Prizing was also very good.

Lots of storage space and was easy to set up on Xbox One.

I bought this for my wife to use and she has no complaints! I hooked it up to her computer and she is using it as her backup.

This unit replaces an older, larger sized but smaller capacity HD unit. It is fast and holds a lot. I am using it for storing photo images as I scan and purge old hard copies of slides,, photos and docs. I hope this will ultimately handle all I have to store but if not I would get another of these units without hesitation.

This WD hard drive was even faster than my previous WD hard drives. In my opinion, I would only get a WD for a hard drive.

Got this when on sale great add storage and easy to move.

So far this drive has been great. I can't speak to the longevity as I've only had it for a few weeks but it hasn't given me any trouble. I plugged it in, the computer recognized it immediately and I was able to start putting my files on it. The only negative thing I noticed is it takes a second to spin up after it's been asleep but that doesn't really affect its performance.

I bought this external hard drive to use with my ASUS router. I had wanted one for some time. But, the 4Gig drives were a little much for a retiree. But one day my drive was on sale. So I bought it and installed it on my Wi-Fi system. It was just what I needed. And I don't have to change it out at anytime soon.
