Works Great when it works.

Got it home and transferred two video files and when I went to confirm it, the Hard Drive could no longer be found. I rebooted the computer, tried another laptop but nothing. I returned same day and received excellent customer service in exchanging it for a new one. I was in and out in 10 minutes. The second drive has worked perfectly for 2 days now. I give 4 stars for quality-control issues, but the drive is great when you get a good one, and Best Buy customer service made it all right.

Continuous Reliability

I have yet to see one of my Western digital devices fail on me one of which is a 2 TB external that I still use today after several years and this 5 TB is seeming to be no different. For a great price and high capacity you can't really go wrong with this one.

I have purchased WD products before and this was another wise choice. I am consolidating flashdives and smaller portable hard drives and this is the perfect size and perfect amount of storage to make it work.

Great for Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S

With all the ones I own and now game pass titles, I never run out of things to play. You can also use it on Series X|S, but you'll have to move games over to the console to play them if they are Optimized for X|S.
