Got this on sale around Black Friday and worth the purchase. Got it for my ps4 but best for my ps5. Was full on my old 2tb external and now I can save all my games and still have plenty of room for more without having to delete games.

I realized while digitizing some old VHS home movies that I was going to need some additional storage. WD to the rescue! The drive was a simple setup and offered quick transfer rates when moving files. The 5TB space means I won't have to worry about storage foe a while!

This 5TB hard drive is perfect for storage. It can hold soooooo much and is very compact and portable. Buying it during black Friday sales made it extremely cheap and affordable!

Title says it all lol...it's just for storage and nothing else. It's starts out w/ 4.5 TB which is still good to go along w/ the 1TB in the Series X. My only beef with it is that it's slow. And for anyone who has either or both of the next gen consoles know what I'm talking about when it comes to loading and starting up a game lol...so imagine going from that speed back to a current gen consoles

This is awesome! I got sick and tired of deleting and re-installing games on my PS4. This has made things so much easier and so much better. I might have to buy more games to get my full use of it! Easy (more like practically no) installation. Highly recommend this for PS4 use.

I got this hard drive to expand my memory for the ps5, so I can have quick access to my ps4 games. Works great.

Picked this up as extra storage for my son’s digital media class. He knows tech much better than I since it’s his major. His words were….. “I couldn’t have made due without this item”

Good price for such a large capacity drive. It handles my backups with ease. I use another backup software because I'm not too fond of the software included with the drive, but that's just a personal preference.

Great value and enough spaces to save all pictures, videos, music. Easy to transfer.

This was a really good/smart purchase. This external HD is fast and has so much storage space. It literally replaced 3 old HDD's and still has about 3.5TB of space available. I got it on sale during the holidays, and would suggest it, if you are in need of a portable HD.

I wanted to wait a little while before I reviewed it, to make sure it was what i needed. I use this for my Xbox X. Very nice read/write speed. Had to plug it into my laptop first to format it. But afterwards, everything was a breeze.

This external storage device is awesome. It is very suitable for all of my needs. With this device I will be able to store and save movies and music for ever. i rate this product as a 5 out of 5. Will be buying a few more of them for my kids for school.

Perfect to back up our two laptops. Mostly photos with some documents. Plenty of space left for the future. Small, easy to store. Overall great item

Works well. I purchased it for external storage for my PS4. It was plug and play. I just plugged it in. The PS4 asked to permission to reformat it, which I gave it. Then it was ready to use to store alll my games. No more more deleting games so I can update another. :)

I bought two of these drives to use for a backup drive on my desktop and the other for additional storage space on my laptop. Both performed well and are a no brainer to plug in. Happy with my purchase and the service from Best Buy

This portable disk drive is easy to use and love the portability; I can take it with me for extra insurance that I have what I need and not too bulky. I have had no problems with in since using it from day 1!

Best purchase I have made for my Xbox series X. With game sizes getting bigger, this allowed me to store the games externally and still keep the system’s SSD free. The load times are fast and the drive is whispered quiet. Well worth the buy

It comes with some proprietary programs to backup your harddrive, but I just deleted them and use the harddrive as an expansion. Does it’s job well, but I wish it came with a case. Had to buy one separately as it didn’t come with a hard case to store it safely.
