I work in IT and I'm always downloading items (songs, etc). My previous external hard drive was full and I wanted something small, easy to use, and full of storage space. This fit the bill! I have a MacBook so I did have to format the hard drive first but it was a piece of cake. Thanks Best Buy!

Like many PS4 users whenever I got a new game I would have to delete an old one. I bought this hard drive so that I could expand my storage from 500GB to 2.5TB and that problem has gone away! THE SETUP The set up was SUPER simple. I plugged in the hard drive with the included cable and my Playstation instantly recognized it. It walked me through the steps to format it and within 5 minutes I was ready to go. USAGE Again, this was very simple. I started reinstalling some of my old games and the Playstation knew to put them onto the expanded memory as the system's memory was full. It is easy to move the files around between the PS4 and hard drive if need be. PLAYING GAMES OFF THE DRIVE I can tell no noticeable difference when playing the games from the hard drive. There are no noticeable glitches or slowdown in play. All the games work perfectly. I would definitely recommend this hard drive! Especially for anyone looking to expand their PS4's storage. It's simple to set up and works like a charm! If I encounter any issues I will update my review.

I bought WD because they have a good reputation for reliability and my last WD Black HDD has been working well for a year. The Easystore has rubber on the bottom that stops it from making any noise or moving around on your desk once the drive gets up to speed. The true size of the drive is 4.5 TB, and if you keep the packaging, you'll have a molded plastic case to keep it in on your way to work.

Great hard drive for my Xbox series s,x and one. I have the east store hard drive on all my Xbox consoles and it does a great job with no issues or problems accessing content and my games stored on the hard drives. It just works great as soon as I format the drive for my Xbox systems . I’ve used these drives for my consoles for a couple of years for my Xbox one and now on my Xbox series s as well as recently Xbox series x . I highly recommend anyone to purchase one of these drives and you won’t be disappointed. No matter what size of dive you choose it works great. My Xbox one has a 2tb and my Xbox series s as well as x systems have the 5tb drives.

Compact and easy to use. I have so many videos and photos of trips and family that I want to preserve. Now I can rest assure they will be safe. I purchase one that can supply the storage I need now and in the future. The sales associates at Best Buy explained the difference between each one.

After reading reviews of long term storage decay on SSD devices I decided to buy this product. It's smaller than I thought so no issues with placement and it's hard to tell if it's spinning even when touching it. No issues at all with getting it up and running. Glad I chose this one.

Very easy to use and best of all you can see what you have actually saved to this external drive, not in code, but literally as you see it on your desktop or laptop. Does not automatically download. However, one just selects documents, or photos and copy them (not move them) from your C drive to this external. I highly recommend it! So compact easy to store in any fireproof file/safe. Just set up a reminder for yourself to copy on an interval that works for you. Copying them will give you an option to only add new or changed files.

I purchased this drive for additional back up space and Best Buy had the best price. As an impulse buy I am very pleased with the speed and reliability of this drive thus far. It doesn't take up much space, is quiet and was effortless to set up. I look forward to filling it up.

This is a great backup hard drive for my two MacBookPros. It has a smaller footprint than my older external hard drive. I bought at a good price, and when it was a “Deal of the Day” a few days later, I called Best Buy, and they credited my credit card to match the lower price.

Simple and easy to use. Plugged it into my Macbook, reformatted for Time Machine backup and then it started backing up. No problems. I’ve used WD external drives before and they have always been reliable. Excellent product.

This is about my 5th or 6th WD portable hard drive that I have purchased from Best Buy. I use them to back up my photos to them. I have had a few laptops in the past that crashed and I have lost my pictures, so now I make sure to back up my computer and phone pictures to an external hard drive ( I actually save them to multiple hard drives in case one of them fails!). These hard drives give me piece of mind that I am not going to lose all of my precious memories!

Compact size, lots of memory storage, powered by usb wire itself, and no additional adapter needed. This is a plug-in and play unit. I like it more, especially when it was on sale.

I own several of these power horses! They are amazing, and work well with my Mac computer. The storage workings are easy. I use them to store pictures, music, work files, and they are great when working with Time Machine, the backup system for the Mac. Super!

Excellent capacity. Good value. Always need a better capacity storage drive for all my extra files. This has massive storage for all the photos that my company uses. Also travels easy on the road in my briefcase so I can back up when traveling.

Had good luck with WD drives and this has proven to be no exception. Setup fine, and have been using2 months now with no issues. Bus powered, small and portable, this is a great buy. (a better buy when you can catch a sale price). Highly recommend.

Well, this sort of product, when it works, does not need 50 characters! I can see WD paired with Best Buy to deliver what a conventional hdd is needed for: plug in storage, that is it. When you do not want encryption, software (you get some but I don't need it), fancy cases or lights this is what you should get. Careful about moving or dropping it of course, I recommend you do not use this while traveling, I've had bad experiences in the past with hdds in backpacks, moving from the home office to work or customers' offices, etc. All you should care for is quality and $/storage regarding this type of product. It is my personal recommendation: expect all hdds to fail someday and be ready! I obviously cannot know when I buy a HDD if it will outlast the previous one (1st portable hdd that I bought is still good, cannot say the same for others that I bought later!)
