Hard to go wrong at twenty bucks per terabyte. My only complaint with this drive is its default sleep mode mode. It spins down almost immediately so if you are frequently accessing files, there is a very annoying lag before anything happens. Fortunately you can download 'WD Drive Utilities for Windows' and turn this feature off. Access should then be much more responsive. Personally, I would like to see this option turned off by default.

I initially bought this for my Wii U. However, the console would not recognize it so I used it as a backup drive for my computer instead. It works well, and I don't notice any lag in opening files. I like the fact that there is so much storage on this little thing

No frills 5TB USB external HDD. Plenty of storage for backups, videos, etc. Great price.

Great storage for any gamer I would definitely recommend it since your console will fill up pretty quickly with a few games and updates I already have a 4tb for my xbox one x so I decided to get a 5tb for my ps4 and if I get a new console I can use it on it

Bought this to be a secondary drive for my PC and it does work for that but it's got some flaws. As for it's actual purpose I'm sure it does great but I am just not using it correctly. I can play games off of it but should of went with a dedicated HDD, would of been cheaper.

This is the first external hard drive I’ve ever bought and so far, it hasn’t let me down. I use it for my video games, my music files and my video files! If you’re running out of space on your computer then this is an excellent buy!

This external drive has been great so far. A lot of storage for a great price while also being nice and portable. Quick transfer times, even on older computers running usb 2.0 ports. I do wish it came formatted to work on both Windows and Mac, but it was easy enough to reformat as needed.

Great drive at a good price. I loaded all my Playstation 4 games onto this to play on Playstation 5. This drive turned out to be even smaller than the previous 2tb I was using for PS4.

It's power packed (huge storage) in small package (form factor). Love it.

Easy to use. Of course, with these things, time is the consideration. I don't wanna put my data on someone's 'cloud'. I have it here. I plug it in, put in the data and done.

Perfect to store all of my ps4 games on my ps5 so i can use the internal memory just for ps5 games, does take awhile to download the games on this since im used to a ssd but other than that plays games perfectly

Ran out of space on my PS4 so I needed tonget an external drive. Great price at $113.99 but hours earlier the previous day, the same drive was $87.99. They would not match the price but itbwas still a great deal. I'm ticked they don't offer military discounts!

5TB for a great price! I usually need an external hard drive once a year and December is a great month to remember to buy one, plus the sales are a great in December. Always need a backup for important files and pictures that would be missed if gone.

Great, little hard drive. I plugged it in and was up and running right away after running the software on the drive. No issues so far and seems sturdy and solid. I got this during a Black Friday sale so the cost was a bit lower than usually advertised.
