I backup all my doc's on the drive. One time some support for a new laptop for set up and they were very good.

This hard drive helped me save my old MacBook as an external hard drive so I was able to use it as a external drive for the Mac operating system without any issues and I am also able to use it for backing up tons of files.

I used this for extra storage on my PS4. Had to look up on YouTube how to make them work together but it's actually just a couple steps on the settings menu. Little bulky and it has to be in the second controller slot but I think it's great!

WD the brand is one of the best in storage. I have been using WD hard drives for more than 10 years now. They work as a charm. They are affordable and serves the purposes. This 5 TB one with a deal is the best. Treat this one as a basic storage and not much difference between 1, 2 and 4 TB. You never know when you will run out of space. Always be upgraded so that you will be satisfied. Until the 5TB launched I purchased the 4 TB one and after this I will only get this one until the next one arrives. Have purchased a lot for my family and friends. They work without any issues.

Warning do not put a external storage on the floor it can overheat and make the hard drive fail in couple years also this 5 tb hard drive is awesome I recommend it to all that looking for external hard drive for their game system

I had been looking for a larger than 1TB External USB portable hard drive and I looked on Best Buy and there it was. Works well and I know I'll never use 5TB, but at least I know it's there if I need it. A good product.

Convenient size and ample room for storage. Very reasonable price when on sale. WD software is glitchy, though. An update crashed my computer for almost an hour - wasn't sure it would recover, but finally it did. Other software (for setting up a password) simply refuses to load properly.

Good Price, Easy to use bought this for my wife to put all of our pics that she had online from her photo bucket account on it as they started charging for that account. This was a nice price and in stock for curbside pickup easy mode.

Great device, with a TON of memory space (5TB). It only gets a tiny bit warm, but doesn’t get any hotter. It’s great if you keep running out of space on your PS4. No more super long install times every time a new game comes in.

I don't actually like reviewing electronics or computer equipment of any sort until I've had it for a year (to see how reliable it is), but since Best Buy emailed me, I figured why not. I got it for like $100 or just $20 per TB. That's a very solid price. I believe it is just 5400rpm, so it is not super fast at loading games, but I can't complain too much given the price, and the fact that it's power is supplied by the USB (no separate power cord). I had a 500GB on my One, which given how big games are, can't hold much. I would rather not have to reinstall and delete games to balance out all the data required to house a lot of games. Speaking of, with a new generation of consoles around the corner, getting a PS4 or a Xbox One, and buying a small library of games for cheap, is a pretty easy thing to do. Setting it up was incredibly easy. Xbox just detects it, and you select a couple of options, and it's pretty much ready to go. Took one minute.

I've absolutely loved these, they work so good, I have 3 of them. They are sturdy, well made drives, I use them for so many things and I've never had a single problem with them.
